Module Overview
Excellent clinical leadership is recognised as fundamental to the provision of high quality care and creating a culture of innovation and support in the workplace. This module explores and examines the changing and evolving healthcare climate to reflect the role of the registered practitioner as being critical to the provision of a caring, person-centred and change-orientated service.
*This module can be taken as a stand-alone module or as part of the MSc Nursing programmes offered by theDepartment of Nursing and Midwifery. Students can take up to two modules without enrolling on a full programmeof study and programme enrolment occurs each Aug/Sept.

Entry Requirements for this module
1. A Registered Nurse on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
2. Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of either prior successful completion of
a degree qualification taught through the medium of English or meet criteria identified in the English Language
qualifications set by the University of Limerick
