EVMS Acceptance Reviews

• Senior level interest and support– Included in Department’s action plans for

President’s Management Agenda

• Aggressive review schedule– Focus is on contractors managing high risk

projects and Management and Operations contractors responsible for multiple projects

EVMS Acceptance Reviews

• DCMA responsible for leading reviews and managing the acceptance process– Review teams comprised of DOE personnel

• FY05 – 8 reviews scheduled– 6 have been completed – two to go

• FY06 – goal is to complete 12 reviews

EVM Challenges

• Improve review process

• EVMS surveillance

• Use of EVM on long term operating projects

• Standardized Contractor Performance Reports

• FAR clause implementation

• EVM staffing and expertise
