Project Lab. This meeting was convened

as a part of their MOU, with respect to

review of a project titled “Calibration Jig”

that has been given by Shridhan to a

group of final year students, which

involves building necessary Electronic

digital system, to have an accurate readout

of level measurement.

Design from a start-up company interacted

with the student group to verify their

design steps and alternate circuit

Dr.Veena Hedge, Dept. of E&I Engg.

delivered a consultancy project “ Tone

Generation Unit”, which generates

multiple tones simultaneously with

reduced harmonics to Josts Engineering

Company Ltd , Bangalore on 10.1.2018.

This was extended Self Study problem

done by the student under a VI semester

comprehensive course named „Algorithm

and System Design‟ which matched the

industry requirement of Josts Ltd.

A review report of FOSSEE activities,

under FOSSEE chapter, BMSCE was

presented to Prof. Kannan Moudgalya,

IITB by a team of faculty and students of

EIE, TCE, CHE on 15th

Jan 2018 at R.K

Hall, BMSCE The activities under

FOSSEE were appreciated by Prof.

Dr.Kannan M Moudgalya, IIT bombay.

Further, the willingness of ECE and Mech.

faculty members to participate in FOSSEE

activities in lab migration and AATs was

expressed during the meeting. The

FOSSEE Chapter at BMSCE is funded by

IIT Bombay, with an seed money of Rs.5

Lakhs. The activities are coordinated by

Dr.Veena N Hegde and Dr.Santosh Desai

from department of EIE.
