Thermal InspectionInfrared Thermal Imaging is technology that utilises detection of heat signatures to pin-point critical areas where the circuits might be damaged. Infrared Thermal Imaging is a vital technology for manufacturing plants and factories. With the proliferation of electricity sensitive machinery and complex circuitry, maintenance of such plants is of vital importance. Such machines are hard to obtain, expensive and may not be replaced easily. The expensive cost of obtaining a new machinery to replace damaged ones means that it would be more beneficial to monitor and maintain such machines.

Ultrasound InspectionUltrasound is a predictive maintenance tool used

successfully in many industrial applications in all kinds of industries. It is used as an inspection tool for detecting faults in Electrical panels, Mechanical units and many other machinery.

than thin ones• Access to only one side of the component is

examination, and hence no disruption of work as there is with radiography

Vibration Analysis In terms of mechanical vibrations for machine

diagnosis, the vibration analysis is a very important technique. It is based on the high information content provided by the machine vibration signals that are an indicator of machine condition, used for the diagnosis of faults. Vibration analysis is fundamental in a predictive maintenance programme, being widely used for detection and monitoring incipient and severe faults in machinery parts, like bearings, shafts, couplings, rotors, motors etc. Some problems that are usually detected by vibration analysis are: unbalance, misalignment, bent shaft, rolling bearing faults, eccentricity, resonance, looseness, rotor rub, fluid-film bearing instabilities, gear faults, belt/sheave problems.
