What Specifically is Covered Under Family Law?

Adoption. Not to be confused with fostering, adoption is the legal process of transferring parental responsibility for a child from their biological parents to the adopters.
Annulment. This can often be mistaken for divorce, but in reality the two legal processes are quite different. While a divorce simply cancels an existing marriage, an annulment renders the marriage null and void.
