GENERALSystem description

(2) UPS units (Delphys MX 250KVA) connected as Follows:

Two units are connected to the load (PDU-1 &PDU-2) through one / two STS (STATYS 400A) whichconnected between the two UPS for its two sources (S1 &S2)and the load.And the input M2 (internal BY-Pass) of each unit will be feddirectly through one Bypass isolation Transformer .**To realize the synchronization all time at any process ofoperation advanced synchronization module will be addedfor each unit to avoid any single point of failure.

The battery will charge from intelligent independent charger i.e completelyseparated from DC bus between the rectifier and inverter to avoid any aging forthe battery due to over/under voltage within charging and discharging periods orover/under voltage of DC Related to AC supply


Inverter with space Vector Modulation (SVM)

Advanced switching IGBT technology comparing with traditional PWM leads to LOSSES REDUCTION thanks to the optimised management of IGBTs HIGH LEVEL OUTPUT PERFORMANE regardless the load type (linear load, non-linear load, capacitive PF or inductive PF, unbalanced load) BETTER OUTPUT VOLTAGE (THDV reduction) QUICKER RESPONSE after a load variation


Inveter capable to carry any load P.F. variation reaching to leading power Factor load:

Delphys MX elite can carry any variation for load power factor without any de-rating up to0.9 leading power factor to be matched with the new data-centers which supported byinternal PFC which considered sometimes temporary capacitive load.


Built- in output Isolation Transformer (inverter transformer)

This solution will add more features rather than traditional features ofGalvanic Isolation such as ( New clean neutral, reduction O/P THDU..etc) To avoid any single point of failure by controlling the O/P wave formof I.T and transferring to automatic bypass in case of any malfunction forthe I.T.

Static by pass with (high short circuit capability) carry more than 20xIn during 20ms

Digital signal processing (DSP) control with Dual power supply.

To realize high availability and redundancy for control circuit by usingtwo independent power supply


(Expert battery system )EBS to maintain max battery life time.

(EBS) system will extend the battery service life time by using the following:

Reduces the risk of Over-Voltage (no permanent charging) Reduces the risk of Over-Charging (no permanent charging) Limits the effects of Under-Voltage (automatic boost to recover weak locks) No AC current ripple on battery (battery not connected to DC bus, switching technology IGBT battery charger).Using temperature compensation factor within any charging Cycle


long life time battery with 12Years life time and wide range for operating temperature.

Our proposal included yuasa SWL type with the following feature:- High performance rate of discharging- wide operating temperature up to 50 to avoid any de-rating in case of AC temporary fault.- Long design life time : 12 Years.

Using Rdundant Automatic cross synchronization ACS

To realize synchronization between three UPSs; we will use advancedcross synchronization built-in to each UPS to avoid any single point of failure in case of using one extra synchronization Box to realize thesynchronization for two or three UPSs .
