Gas Industry)

Integrated Operations is the implementation of a safe, cost-effective and efficient operating

protocol that involve multiple aspects of the human behavior which are glued together by solid

workflow processes; enabled by the use of real time data, collaborative techniques and expertise

across disciplines, organisations and geographical locations.

This practice was initially implemented in the north sea operations in Norway.

• Next Generation Digital Oilfields Asia 2013 (27th -28th June 2013)

Digital Oilfields are designed with the intention of maximising oilfield recovery, reduce or

eliminate non-productive time and increase profitability through the design and deployment of

integrated workflows which are part of the Integrated Operations Philosophy.

• Yard exposure at MMHE Yard 2 for the hook-up and commissioning of the Kebabangan (KBB)

Platform

Learnt about "Black Start" procedure to power up a platform while being attached there. "Black

Start" is the process of restoring an electrical power station or part of an electrical rid to operation

without relying on external transmission network.
