EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Since 11/2017 Lancaster University (LU) Library Research & Scholarly Communications Manager Leading a team dealing with Since 03/2014 Lancaster University (LU) Library Research Data & Repository Manager
3 ½ years’ experience as RDM Manager in Digital Innovation & Research Services Team (DIRS).
Led on implementation of LU’s Research Data Policy by developing and refining LU-specific guidelines on good research practices to ensure funder compliance.
Developed RDM advisory service and tailored training on metadata, data publication, citation, licencing and IPR issues, considering subject specifics and differences between quantitative and qualitative research.
Promoted Open Research agenda through innovative & user centric measures such as Data Conversations and Data Interviews.
Co-lead in LU’s participation in Jisc’s Research Data Shared Services (RDSS) and Ex Libris Research Services platform

She holds the position of Deputy Director at the Library for twenty years, the last ten years she has focused on the management of open access and on research services. Work projects With a long trajectory in user training and management of electronic resources, among other projects it should be noted the implementation of PoliBuscador, the discoverer of the Library; Aleph, the library management system; RiuNet, the institutional repository, and recently the development of bibliographic module in the CRIS of the university. Projects have included all the phases; detection of needs, exploration of the environment, strategy, planning and execution of the project, production and subsequent management of the service.
