Older age groups experience Bible stories, activities & music. Children will be rehearsing for the Children's Christmas Program and will be in the sanctuary. 7:00pm - The members of the Coordinating Committee are inviting you to come to a Sunday Evening Prayer Meeting TONIGHT in the sanctuary at 7pm. Worship Services 8:30am & 10:45am Open to all 7th - 12th grade students 6:30-8:00 PM THIS MORNING - Small groups meet during the Sunday School Hour. We are starting a new series called Forward Motion. We’ve all made resolutions and set goals, but too often we fall short of what we expected to accomplish. Unfortunately it’s often the same when we try to become the Christian we really believe God has called us to be. We fall short of the goal and become increasingly discouraged. In this series, your student will learn that following Christ is more about the small steps we make every day, not about the huge leaps of faith that we think we need to make. They will set a goal, determine the first step and then make it. THE BOTTOM LINE THIS WEEK: The way you get from where you are to where you want to be is one step at a time. Scripture Reference - 2 Corinthians 1 THIS EVENING - We have youth group tonight! Come hang out with us! WINTER SNEAK - FEB 2-4 - AT QUAKER HAVEN CAMP Winter Sneak is an Awesome opportunity to come to camp and be together with your camp family! We will have games led by Andrew Morrical, worship led by a band from Malone University, and 4 chapels brought to us by Bill Quigley (professor from Malone). It will start Friday Feb 2nd at 7 p.m. at the activity center, and will end at 12 p.m. on Sunday the 4th. Cost is $100. Register here: http://www.qhcyouthprogramming.com. Senior Christmas Luncheon TOMORROW Join other Senior Adults for a special luncheon at Eugenia's (Honeywell Center) TOMORROW, Monday, December 4th at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are needed BUT IT'S NOT TOO LATE, so please sign up in the ministry folders or on the information table in the lobby TODAY. Ordering will be from a limited menu. Come fellowship and see the splendid Christmas decor. If you have any questions, please contact Sandy Davis. AYC's Share the Warmth Blanket Drive The Access Youth Center is having a "Share the Warmth" Blanket Drive for needy families. The goal is collecting 100 NEW blankets between now and Friday, Dec. 8th. These will then be distributed during the Community Holiday Dinner on December 9th. Drop your donation off at the church office by Dec 8th at 4pm. Call The Access at 563-2070 with any questions. Perspectives Class Starting January 7th A new Perspectives on the World Christian Movement class starts Sunday, January 7th at Wellbrooke from 1:30 to 4:30pm for 15 weeks. Perspectives is an invitation to be part of what God is doing in the world. Perspectives is both an organization and a movement that mobilizes through education. This class will challenge you to live intentionally to see God globally worshipped. Talk to anyone on the WFC Mission Committee and see www.perspectives.org to sign up or for more information. Cookies Still Needed for Little Friends Day Care Little Friends Day Care needs cookie donations for their Christmas Carnival. They will be dividing them into plates for a Cookie Walk. Please sign up in the ministry folders or at the information table. Cookies need dropped off at the Family Center Kitchen by Sunday, December 10th. Your help is greatly appreciated! Helping Hands' Soup Kitchen Help Needed For the past several years, members of the Wabash Friends Church have volunteered to help with meals at the Helping Hands’ Kitchen (prepare/ serve/clean-up). If you are interested to share in – or learn more about this opportunity of local community service, please call Joy Curless at 260-563-2626. Our church team is responsible for only one Tuesday night a month. Thank you for your support of this local ministry, through prayers and service. Denny Craft, Nancy Frank, and Joy Curless Pastoral Recommendation Information The Coordinating Committee and Ministry & Oversight are pleased to recommend Brandon Eaton as the candidate for the Lead Pastor position.
