Message from Presidential Diamond Sandy Durre

Holding on to what no longer serves you will get you nowhere. As Alexander Graham Bell wrote, "When one door closes, another opens: but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the

closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."

We must accept the end of something before something new and better can appear. Whats holding you back? Let's go....

I wanted to share with you a few things that are in the It Works Magazine, "The Wrap"

I will share something new with you every month. I hope you enjoy.

ACT AS IF...If you're unhappy with your life and you want things to change, all this negativity may cloud your perspective, making you unhappy with

the person you are today. Your mind continually loops, reminding you of

everything you don't have but want. This creates a scarcity complex that keeps you

mired in a downward spiral.

There's an old trick that personal development coached use to get their clients to jump-start their life. It's called "act as if" Here's how it works. Act as if something is

already true and it will become true.

You can create your reality. But you must start by changing your beliefs and then

demonstration the behaviors needed for success. In this way, you will prove to the most important person in your life - you - that you deserve better and your mind will follow in your footsteps. As Ralph Waldo

Emerson famously wrote, "Do the thing and you will have the power."

WIN SOME, LOSE SOME...Trust that little voice inside your head that says you can do and be more. Remember,

it's not as important that you win as that you try. If you fail, pick yourself up, dust

yourself off and get back in the saddle. Remember that everybody fails. There may be people in your life whom you envy but

keep in mind that if you asked them earnestly whether they've ever failed, they would most likely bend your ear. So keep trying to improve your life and you will

PUSH THROUGH...The life you want won't magically just happen. You have to make it happen.

And no, it may not be easy but you have to be willing to be uncomfortable during the process. Push through the pain to get to

your purpose.

You can choose what you do for a living. You can choose to sleep in or go for a

morning jog. You can choose your priorities. You can choose to push

through to get what you want and to be who you want.

TAKE BABY STEPS...Personal growth is achieved by taking

many steps towards progress. It's a process, so be patient with yourself and remember to celebrate baby steps along

the way. If you have a large goal, break it down into manageable bites so you can

reasonably accomplish those steps. In this way, you won't feel overwhelmed at any

time in your journey.

If your goal is to move up the ladder, start working harder and investing more energy into your job. If you want to become a better person, sign up to

volunteer and then go do it. If you want to improve your significant relationship, treat your partner as new and amazing

every day, waiting to be discovered.

Here’s a few tips that have helped me become a better leader and moreconfident in myself. I could seriously go on and on but I have one

page to share with you all!! I hope you all enjoy them!! Love you allDestiny Zuber

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of gettingstarted is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small

manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.”When you start to look too far into the future any task or project canseem close to impossible. And so you shut down because you become

overwhelmed or fearful (of success or failure) and you start surfingthe internet aimlessly.

Break that task down into small and practical steps. Then just focus on taking the first step today. That is all you needto focus on, nothing else. By taking the first step you change your

mental state from resistant to “hey, I’m doing this, cool”.You put yourself in state where you become more positive and open, a

state where you may not be enthusiastic about taking the next stepafter this first one but you are at least accepting it.

And so you can take the next step. And the next one after that.Until you have arrived at your destination and at completion.

2. Less talking, more doing.“Action speaks louder than words but not nearly as often”

“There are basically two types of people. People who accomplishthings, and people who claim to have accomplished things. The first

group is less crowded.”It’s often easy to talk but developing the habit of being a person of

action is quite a bit harder.Being in the habit of breaking down your task into smaller pieces isone of the most effective things you can do to take more consistent

action.Start your day with a positive morning routine. A good start oftenleads to a good day. A bad or indecisive start often leads to a pretty

mediocre day. So create your own morning routine that reliably getsyou off to a good or great start. Mine includes a good breakfast, positive information as I eat my first meal of the day and getting

started with my most important task of the day right away when I startworking.

Block out the distractions. Before you take one of those small stepsforward make sure you have created a zone where you are a lot lesslikely to be distracted or disturbed. So shut down your internet or

use a blocker program for your most visited websites. Put your phonein silent mode and somewhere where you can’t see it for a while. Close

the door to your room. Then get to work.3. Be courageous in the face of fear.

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear – not absence of fear.”Being courageous can be difficult but if you want to live the life youwant to live then sometimes you have look into the face of fear and

get going or keep going.Ask yourself: what is the worst that could happen? Don’t just think

about it for a few seconds. Sit down with a pen and piece of paper oryour laptop. Write it all out as you think about what the realistic

worst-case scenario would be. Then write down a plan for how you cancome back from such a scenario.

This brings clarity, defuses fuzzy fears and helps you realize thatyou can most often bounce back pretty quickly even if the worst-case

scenario somehow becomes reality.Share your fear with someone. By just keeping it on the inside it’seasy to build a fear up into this massive nightmare and extremely

dangerous thing. By sharing and by getting some input from a levelheaded friend or family member he or she can help you to alleviate thefear and inner pressure. And you can gain a much healthier perspective

on things again.Accept the fear. It is a natural impulse to try to deny the fear whenit shows up in your life. Perhaps you try to not think about it, you

try to push it away. In many cases it is actually better to justaccept that fear is here right now.

After a few minutes of fully taking in this uncomfortable feeling andaccepting it then it starts to lose steam. You have stopped feedingmore energy into the fear. And it just seems to float away – or at

least becomes smaller – and you feel more open and centered.

4. A good compliment is a wonderful thing.“I seriously can live for two months on a good compliment.”

Compliments are awesome. But make sure you make it:A genuine one. Make sure you really mean it or it may have the

opposite effect as your insincerity shines through.Something a bit unexpected. Like a great taste in old soul music

rather than something the other person has heard a hundred times likefor example about looks.

Something that is important to the other person.5. Keep positive company.

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Smallpeople always do that, but the really great make you feel that you,

too, can become great.”Spend more time with positive people, books, music, movies, podcasts

and websites.Spend your time in an environment that lifts you up.

And spend less time or no time with the negative sources out there.Make a conscious choice and start to shape your environment instead of

just going along and reading, listening to, watching what people ingeneral or people around you may be in the habit of consuming.

6. Focus on what is truly important for YOU.“Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising.”

Make a conscious choice to focus on what is most important in YOURlife. And not on the things that various companies – or other people –

may tell you are the most important things.Make a note with the 4 most important things in your life smartly

placed where you will see it every day – in your bathroom or laptopetc. – helps you to keep your mind consistently on your top

priorities.

Self Confidence/Leadership by Destiny Zuber

Instead of Overcoming Objections, Sometimes You Need to Move On

When I talk to people about closing prospects and getting new distributors, one of the biggest challenges they always tell me they face is overcoming objections. I have spoken

about some ways to do that in the past, and sometimes I really do believe it can be important. But you know what I think is more important? Being able to confidently walk

away from someone who says no or has strong objections or simply isnʼt ready to take this step. Be confident…walk away.

Iʼm not saying you shouldnʼt overcome objections that are small or are easily addressed by your opportunity (especially when you know this opportunity really could be a solution to their problems). What Iʼm talking about are the prospects who you would basically have to drag into joining your company. We arenʼt here to be shady and try to get people into the

business at all costs. In my experience, the distributors that I have signed up that weovercoming objectionsre really excited about starting are the ones who excelled the

most. They are the ones who made a commitment, worked hard, and didnʼt make excuses.Donʼt let that “NO” bother you. That one distributor is not going to make or break you. And make sure that everyone knows that it doesnʼt bother you. When you give off that feeling

of confidence, people will see it and want to know how you can be so confident. It may make that person who just gave you a “no” think again.

Think about it from your own point of view. Would you be more likely to want to join someone who is desperate or someone who is obviously confident and secure in what they are doing? Who would you rather look to for leadership? I canʼt imagine wanting to look to

someone like that for leadership. So when you feel yourself trying so hard at overcoming objections from a prospect, take a step back for second. Ask yourself: Am I appearing desperate? Tell yourself, “ʻNoʼ is ok.”

There will be another “yes” right around the corner.

CAUGHT IN THE ACTION...........

Doing a HAPPY DANCE!I was terrified to start. Ask Tammy Larson... I didn't have the money to start and I definitely

didn't have the confidence. My mom loaned me the money and I said I'd pay her back when I sold the

wraps. Easy enough, yes? Well a few days ago I was sad and talking to Tammy because I had only sold

2 wraps and I Was a long shot away from affording my auto-shipment and website.

God totally was there for me. I sold FIVE wraps today and I am officially debt free with my mom, can pay for my auto-shipment, and only need 10$ more to cover my website. My goal was to cover all

my costs the first month. I am about a month in and 10$ from that goal. I am SO HAPPY and

feeling so blessed right now! Thank you Tammy and Mike Larson for inviting me over, making me feel welcome, and convincing me that I NEEDED

this! Because you know what? I do! And I DESERVE it!
