─ Stock over 9,590 items brought in from USA– More than 7,680 dry; 1,290 freeze; 620 chill– Added additional 115 chill items

─ Plus Direct Store Delivery (DSD) items, one-time buys, shippers, local items, club packs & seasonal/holiday items

─ Plus meat, produce & deli/bakery products

• During FY08 added over 1,200 new items• FY09 thru June added over 630 new items

─ Considerations– Sales history & demand, product shelf life, CDC space

constraints, customer input, cost & promotional activity, store size, manufacturer & food broker support

─ Product selection increased from 213 to 247 items in 2008 and from 247 to 285 in 2009

• WIC-O products─ Number of transactions increased by over 782K

from FY08 to FY09

• Bison – introduced this year with sales over $138K

• Lakudia Olives – introduced this year with sales over $75K
