• 6-12 Common Core Math Training took place on Aug. 21, 2013
• Align to the Math Common Core• 7 days are scheduled to meet with K-12 Math in the
next month to align curriculum to the MCC• Curriculum writing precedes resource selection

Textbook Revision Process• Begin gathering informal feedback encouraging open dialogue (6
months before & continuously throughout)• Administrators discuss and provide committee representatives
(representing levels)• Initial Committee meeting(s) to set the direction with a focus on delivering
the curriculum• Request for publishers to send samples available for review• Publisher Presentations (1-2 days), may visit schools using the text• Evaluate texts and resources (request for more to review to meet
