Dear Parents and Families, Before we wave goodbye to the 2015-2016 school year, here are a few important reminders that will make the transition from “Out of School Care” to “Summer Camp” much easier for your families, the children, and the teachers. We appreciate your support in ensuring the following: Despite the random rainy days it is important for ALL the children to have proper sun protection EVERY DAY as the weather steadily heats up. Please ensure your child has: A hat A water bottle Sunscreen (if used) On the last day of school, please ensure your child’s cubby is cleared out of UNNECESSARY (things we will NOT need over the summer) items that have collected over the months: Coats, jackets .etc. Uniforms, sweaters .etc. Dress shoes, rain boots .etc. Homework, textbooks .etc. The back route from Portable A to Portable D is NOT ACCESSIBLE for vehicles to use as a thoroughfare at any time. This area is strictly closed off for the safety of our children, as they travel back and forth from class- rooms to the playground. We really appreciate your utmost attention and help in ensuring that this passage is kept clear of traffic at all times! We have been so blessed to see another school year go by together! Sometimes it seems like time is dragging on, but this was not one of those years--- Through the last nine months we have had occasions filled with joy and laugh- ter, times of sadness as we said goodbye to old friends, and moments of struggling with challenges both big and small. Looking back we see the amazing growth the children and teachers have experienced physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. Thank you Lord, for seeing us through all the ups and downs, for gracing us with more ups than downs, and allowing us to grow together as friends and families in Christ! As the children finish up their school work and hand in those final assignments, we can now look forward to the fun times to be had over the beautiful summer months. The children have been very excited about what we have planned for our summer camp and have not been shy about sharing their own ideas for field trips, activities, games and crafts. It is our pleasure to be able to incorporate things that they love to do, as well as new exciting things for them to learn and discover. So please be sure to check out our Summer Camp schedule and we hope to see your kids there! Ms. Candice, Ms. Maryam, Ms. Elisha & Ms. Wendy

Dear Parents and Families,

Before we wave goodbye to the 2015-2016 school year, here are a few important reminders that will make the transition

from “Out of School Care” to “Summer Camp” much easier for your families, the children, and the teachers. We appreciate

your support in ensuring the following:

① Despite the random rainy days it is

important for ALL the children to have

proper sun protection EVERY DAY as

the weather steadily heats up. Please

ensure your child has:

A hat

A water bottle

Sunscreen (if used)

② On the last day of school, please

ensure your child’s cubby is cleared

out of UNNECESSARY (things we will

NOT need over the summer) items that

have collected over the months:

Coats, jackets .etc.

Uniforms, sweaters .etc.

Dress shoes, rain boots .etc.

Homework, textbooks .etc.

③ The back route from Portable A to

Portable D is NOT ACCESSIBLE for

vehicles to use as a thoroughfare at

any time. This area is strictly closed

off for the safety of our children, as

they travel back and forth from class-

rooms to the playground. We really

appreciate your utmost attention and

help in ensuring that this passage is

kept clear of traffic at all times!

ter, times of sadness as we said goodbye to old friends, and moments of struggling with challenges both big and

small. Looking back we see the amazing growth the children and teachers have experienced physically, mentally,

socially and spiritually. Thank you Lord, for seeing us through all the ups and downs, for gracing us with more ups

Dear Parents and Families,

Ms. Berenicé, Ms. Danielle, & Ms. Josephine

Happy Father’s Day!

What a marvelous month May has been! We had a lovely tea party with

our mommies for Mother’s Day. We are truly grateful to all of the mommies

who joined us for this event. Your support and love for your children have

shone through as they have grown in their faith, academics, physical activity,

and relationships during this year. We all feel extremely blessed to work

with you and your children. Thank you.

June is a very special month. The end-of-year concert and graduation cele-

bration on Wednesday, June 22nd, promises to be an emotional one. We

trust that everybody – parents, children, family, friends and teachers – will

have a fun and memorable evening. Everyone is invited! Please bring a

snack/refreshment to share. The following children are graduating and will

be missed by all their friends and teachers. We wish our friends, Chantal,

Jahrey, Jesse, and Olivia, all the best in Kindergarten .

We have enjoyed working with all the children in our care and have seen

growth, development and skill acquisition in all of them. We have also wit-

nessed how the children have grown in the way they deal with frustration,

and the care and concern they express for one another. Hooray for each

and every child!!!

We look forward to a fun-filled Summer!

God bless!

part of such huge development in all

our graduating students. I rejoice as

they have grown in God and am so

happy to have met all of them. I wish

them much happiness and success!

Ms. Elly

We had an exciting Mother’s Day celebration and want

to thank all the mommies, grandmommies, and aunties who

joined us for the event. Our children did a great job and

you all looked so beautiful with your fascinators! Next

up, it’s Father’s Day along with the theme: safety & nutri-

tion. We want to make sure everyone stays healthy and

safe during the summer!

We thank you for your support through the year and feel

a close partnership with our parents. We send our best

wishes to the many preschoolers who are graduating to

kindergarten in the fall!

Summer safety

(Hats, shades,

& traffic lights)

Dear Parents and Families, The warm sunshine and cool breeze from spring is already

gone and we're now looking ahead to welcoming the hot

summer! Over the past month, the children had plenty of

opportunities to enjoy the weather and spend time at the

park and enjoy impromptu picnics. Our Mother's Day gift

was a spectacular success as it was received with so much

love. For June, we will be teaching summer safety to our

children. We will be impressing the importance of keeping

ourselves well hydrated by drinking plenty of water, a

healthy diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, and

plenty of rest, as needed by our bodies. This will also

provide many opportunities for our children to begin

developing skills such as communication, self-help, fine

and gross motor skills.

We would like to give a warm welcome to Leah & Kristopher

who will be joining our infant toddlers room in July as we

say fond farewells to Zetta, Landon and Tevy, who are mov-

ing up to the GDC & JKC room. We will miss you buddies!

This will be our last newsletter for the school year. During the summer months we will be spending lots of time outdoors. Please make sure that our little friends have a hat and sunscreen to keep at the daycare, as well as a water bottle. Please let us know if you will be gone on vacation as it helps with our daily planning. Thank you!
