Term 4 Week 10 Date: 14th December 2017
“Our School...Your Children...Their Future”
Dear Parents and Carers,
Congratulations to our Year 6 students and teachers
for a fantastic mini-fete held last week, the major
fundraising event for our Year 6 students. Thank
you to all students for their support and great
involvement in the fun activities.
This week saw the official announcement of our
2018 School Captains and Vice-Captains. We were
extremely proud of all 30 candidates, through their
campaigns, speeches and mature response to the
final outcome. Congratulations to Asher Grabham
and Beth Anderson - Captains, and to Rupert Begg
and Imogen Lowe – Vice-Captains. We know they
will be outstanding leaders and role models and we
look forward to working with them next year in
their leadership capacity. Congratulations and thank
you to our outgoing Captains – Harvey and Kira
and Vice Captains – Grayson and Tessa. They have
provided excellent leadership throughout the year.
Thank you to all the parents and friends that joined us last Monday for our Presentation Day Assembly. Congratulations to all the boys and girls who wore their school uniform with pride and sat with patience and consideration throughout the assembly. A big thank you to Mrs Porter for her seamless organisation of the event.
Thank you – I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to the students, parents and staff of Eglinton Public School who have made it a pleasure to lead such a great school as your Relieving Principal. I very much look forward to working alongside you again next year in my substantive role as Assistant Principal.
Have a safe and relaxing holiday season.
