Dancer and choreographer, Claire de Monclin questions the links that can be woven between

individuals through the movements of the body. Around similar ideas, children and adults, amateursand professionals, are encouraged to share a moment of emotion that will reverberate for each of

them. This work creates different forms depending on the context: choreographies, modern balls,

performances or dance-like strolls. Her thoughts about the body and space have led her to

collaborate with directors and artists, in the urban space, in the nature as well as in various

museums. She realizes two impromptus for the Georges Pompidou Center in 2004 and 2010:

moments of dance shared with the public and workshops for the space 13/16 within the framework

of the exhibitions "Macadam 2010, " fashion factory ", " Green attitude " in 2011 and "Plante

    Manga" in 2012.

She choreographs a dance-like strolls within the framework of the FIART for the exhibition"dreamlands " in 2010, with the plastic artist Antonio Gallego and repeats the experiment for les

Journes du Patrimoine in the Parc de La Villette, in 2011.

In 2012, the pleasure of appropriating objects has given her the opportunity to propose to the

Pompidou Center, in association with Muriel Venet, a graphic and choreographic workshop

"transformations" for the Gallery of the children where, she dreams up the nomadic habitat of pop-

up tents and reinvents the 18th-century ball dress as a baroque outfit for the 21st century. This work

is presented in the museum Istambul modern in 2013 and in Athens in 2014.

In 2012, she created a duet on the filiation mixing break dance and modern dance: Pour 20 ans et

    pour plus longtemps .
