On behalf of the DCSRG, we present our 2011 Guide.

The DC Senior Resource Group (DCSRG) started approximately ten (10) years ago as a nameless entity focused on pure marketing. Eight or ten of us sat around the basement of a senior facility and played parlor games developing marketing techniques and looking for referrals. The bagels were cold, the room was cold and the folding chairs uncomfortable.

Things have certainly changed since those days in the basement. Today DCSRG is considered the premier education and marketing group in the DC metropolitan area. DCSRG’s growth reflects the needs of our elder community and the service community that has developed to meet those needs. As a professional group, DCSRG serves the DC metropolitan community with both education and networking.

The education programs scheduled for 2012 range from an annual Medicare and Medicaid update delivered by nationally recognized experts, a state of the art review of hospice care, reverse mortgages, community villages, to medical insights on dementia and hoarding and finally to business aspect of elder services, including the dynamics of selling.

In 2012 DCSRG will also host our second annual UnProgram, which is designed for small discussion groups on relevant topics of interest.

The meetings are well attended and present an excellent and professional marketing platform. The group meets on the first Monday of every month at:

The Methodist Home4901 Connecticut Avenue NWWashington DC 20008

A superb breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. The speaker begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and finishes no later than 9:30 a.m. The meeting concludes promptly at 9:45 a.m.

Street parking, as well as parking anywhere on The Methodist Home property, is available. There are no membership requirements; that is, just show up. No dues, no fees.

The meetings are lively, audience participation is encouraged and most speeches are interactive. If you want to be included on the email distribution list contact:
