Davco K10 GRS 2000 (Green Roof Membrane)

• Davco GRS 2000 is a specially formulated liquid applied root resistance waterproofing membrane, which contains ‘PREVENTOL B2’, a special additive by BAYER which acts as a chemical barrier to prevent the membrane being perforated by vegetation.

PEVENTOL B2 BY BAYER• Preventol B2 offers long term protection to vegetated

roof because it prevents plant roots from growing into the waterproof membrane and causing leakage.

• Based on its Biological effect, Preventol® B2 redirects roots as they approach the membrane, without damaging/ harming or killing them.

PEVENTOL B2: Properties• Protects building materials from root

penetration.• Has a long-term effect since it is virtually

insoluble in water, non-volatile and non-leachable.

• Remains effective even under extreme weather conditions.

• Has a root-resistant effect even at a very low concentration and is therefore particularly cost-effective.

• FLL (2008) Test– 2 years test carried out in

accordance with the “Method of testing resistance to root damage to flexible sheets and coating of roof planting.

– In order to prevent damage, protection sheet and coatings are required to perform permanent resistance against penetration or perforation by plant roots and plant rhizomes (subterranean sprouts).
