Historical Data ManagementVTS is equipped, out-of-the-box, with the best integrated historical management tools

    in the industry.

    Incredibly Fast Integrated Data Logging

The native historical database format can efficiently man-

age vast amounts of process data without expensive

server-level computer hardware. Log any variable or all of

them. Easily configure deadbands to help reduce data-

base size without losing relevant data.

Log data at up to 4,000 values a second

    Log on time or change

    Configure logging by tag

Backup or Share Data by Logging to Multiple Database Formats

When it comes to data logging, the VTS Historian provides the best of both worlds. Take advantage of the superior performance

of the native database format. Simultaneously, log across a network to an Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or SQLite database in a

different building. Also share data with 3rd party reporting tools via the VTS ODBC Server.

Protect Your Data with Multiple Synced Historians

VTS is the only monitoring & control software that supports an unlimited number of redundant, synchronized historians spread

across multiple servers. Should the primary database server fail, all the applications workstations and Internet clients automati-

cally fail over to the next available backup database. When the primary is restored, missing historical data is automatically is

restored from the backup databases. Sync databases across a WAN at up to 160,000 values a second.

See a Continuous Picture of your Data

The Integrated Historical Data Viewer (HDV) is automati-

cally part of every VTS application. It combines historical

data logs with real-time data to display a continuous pic-

ture of any number of I/O values over time.

The HDV simultaneously displays analog or digital values

simultaneously as either a graph or table. Easily add orremove tags as necessary and independently adjust each

ones color and thickness. Save groups of variables for later

recall. Configure the HDV to open with pre-loaded sets of

    tag values for specific periods.

Add encrypted operator notes to the timeline to provide

context for anomalous readings (e.g. maintenance).
