Brief Description
New building housing research and development labs, wet labs, and meeting and teaching areas, as well as a data center that supports all of UMass Medical School’s campuses.
Th e data center includes American Power Conversion (APC) server room equipment, uninterrupted power supply systems (UPS), a standby generator, a 5-ton emergency chiller, a Novec fi re suppression system, and an extensive Technical Assistance Center (TAC) security package.
Interior fi t out of two existing four-story offi ce buildings, totaling 205,000 SF.
25,000 SF Tier III data center / soft ware engineering labs, full height offi ces and conference rooms, training rooms, an executive briefi ng center, fi tness center and the renovation of the existing cafeteria.
Fast-track project.
Adaptive re-use project involving a complete interior rehabilitation of the existing 200,000 SF building into a Network Attached Storage Center.
New 25,000 SF Tier III data center/engineering laboratories, offi ces, utilities and a full service cafeteria.
Fast-track project.
Fit-out of a three-story, 189,000 SF offi ce building consisted of three simultaneous phases: installation of a 12,000 SF Tier III data center/server farm, the tenant offi ce improvement work and a fi ve-fl oor 380-car pre-cast concrete parking garage.
Fast-track project.
Four-story, 460,000 SF data processing center and offi ce building, containing over 200,000 SF of computer rooms.
Th ree 2,000 kw back-up emergency generators were installed in the rooft op penthouse, and to full substations were installed in the building.
Two Tier III data centers providing data services, information security, advanced optical transport, and stabilization needed in today’s world of “on demand” information.
Both network centers utilize Integrated Datacenter Rack Systems (IDRS). with redundant N + 1 three-phase UPS and main power distribution units and N + 1 rack cooling.
12,000 SF Tier III data center building for tele-communication companies located all over the world to transmit data overseas. Th e facility includes offi ces, a kitchen and a conference room for building occupants. Two generators and a third transfer switch intended for emergency power were also installed.
Fast-track project.
Extensive gut renovation of Th e Net-Works tele-communications and e-commerce center. Providing over 1,000,000 SF of space.
E-commerce tenants benefi t from the facility’s several distinct fi ber lines and telecommunication infrastructure variety.
Two new, four-story tele-communications buildings with 385,000 SF of space.
Designed for tenants with intensive tele-communications requirements, with the highest quality fi ber optic access, security, and power and cooling capacity.
Renovation of an existing 4,000 SF data center into a high performance research computing facility and an equipment room. Project included interior demolition, raised access fl ooring, new chilled water, complex electrical and HVAC upgrades and offi ce fi t-out for a computer network room.
Design/Build of the new Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Data Center. Th e 20,220 SF, Tier III data center includes offi ce space, redundant mechanical and electrical systems, including: uninterruptable power supply (UPS); generators; access fl ooring; utilities; parking; site improvements; accessibility and antiterrorism force protection (ATFP). Th e project is being designed and constructed to achieve LEED Silver Certifi cation.
Renovation of Raytheon’s new “Dulles Hub’ campus, with a goal of LEED Silver. Th e project consists of consolidation of two Rayheon sectors: Raytheon Intelligence & Information Systems, and Raytheon Technical Services Company. Work includes: New Tier III Data Center; the installation of a new Mission Critical Generator; new duct bank distribution system; relamping/replacement of all fi xtures; SCIF space; and reworking of the existing 21 fl oors. Fast-track project.
LEED Gold Certifi ed 12,000 SF data center part of the tenant broken into two rooms - a 9,000 SF main data center and a 3,000 SF data center expansion space.
Backed up with dual 1.6 Megawatt APC systems for the main data center & dual 600 KW APC systems for the Data Center Expansion. It is cooled with 42 CRAC units. Th e entire area is on a 30” raised fl oor and is protected by Argonite chemical fi re suppression systems as well as by pre-action wet fi re sprinkler system.
22,000 SF tenant improvement project consisting of high-end video conference rooms, offi ce space, a 3,000 SF data center, and a 3,000 SF network operations center. Th e data center included OFCI APC infrastructure management systems.
