Linkage map construction

The genetic map was constructed using the statistical program TetraploidMap (Hackett and Luo 2003)

Marker order was established by the simulated annealing algorithm of TetraploidMap at starting T = 10, a cooling factor of = 0.85 and M = 100n random changes at each T°

Chromosome assignment and polarity was established by mapping SSR markers and using “sol genomics network” maps; Potato meta-QTL consensus map and Solanum phureja diploid map 2010, as reference http://solgenomics.net/
