It summarises the deliverables of projects, structured according to the reference model defined in Part 1 of this Technical Report, to be made available in an on-line repository where the relevant outcomes are collected and classified in order to provide a structu-red sets of recommendations for imple-menting SDIs at the European, national and sub-national levels.This collection refers mainly to the projects funded by the European Union funding programmes: this choice is driven by the wide vision and analysis which such kind of projects can provide and the wide numbers of stakeholders which have been involved.The outcomes delivered by these relevant practices are collected into a document registry available through the CEN/TC287 web site. This part of the Technical Report defines the processes and the content of these projects and documents registries, which will help making them more accessible and re-usable. It provides the relevant project deliverables addressing the main SDI issues as described in the other parts of this Technical Report.The intended readership of this Technical Report are those people who are responsible for creating frameworks for SDI, experts contributing to INSPIRE, experts in information and communication technologies and e-government that need to familiarize themselves with geographic information and SDI concepts, and standards developers and writers.Projektleder: Maria Banck-Hammerum

DS/EN 60601-1-6/AC:2012DKK 0,00Identisk med EN 60601-1-6:2007/AC:2010Elektromedicinsk udstyr - Del 1-6: Generelle krav til grundliggende sikkerhed og væsent-lige funktionsegenskaber - Sideordnet stan-dard: AnvendelighedIEC 60601-1-6:2010 specifies a process for a manufacturer to analyse, specify, design, verify and validate usability, as it relates to basic safety and essential performance of medical electrical equipment. This usability engineering process assesses and mitigates risks caused by usability problems associ-ated with correct use and use errors, i.e., normal use. It can be used to identify but does not assess or mitigate risks associated with abnormal use. If the usability enginee-ring process detailed in this collateral stan-dard has been complied with and the accep-tance criteria documented in the usability validation plan have been met (see 5.9 of IEC 62366:2007), then the residual risks, as defined in ISO 14971, associated with usabi-lity of me equipment are presumed to be acceptable, unless there is objective eviden-ce to the contrary (see 4.1.2 of IEC 62366:2007). The object of this collateral standard is to specify general requirements that are in addition to those of the general standard and to serve as the basis for parti-cular standards. This document cancels and replaces the second edition of IEC 60601-1-6 which has been technically revised. It was revised to align with the usability enginee-ring process in IEC 62366. To allow for equipment manufacturers and testing orga-nizations to make products and to equip themselves for conducting revised tests in accordance with this third edition, it is recommended by SC 62A that the content of this document not be adopted for manda-tory implementation earlier than 3 years from the date of publication for equipment newly designed and not earlier than 5 years from the date of publication for equipment already in production.Projektleder: Regnar Schultz

This International Standard contains provisions with respect to features in the external environment directly concerned with access to a building or group of buildings from the edge of the relevant site boundary or between such groups of buildings within a common site. However, this International Standard does not deal with those elements of the external environment, such as public open spaces, whose function is self-contained and unrelated to the use of one specific building, nor does this International Standard deal with single family dwellings, other than those circulation spaces and fittings that are common to two or more such dwellings. At present, consideration is being given to the development and publication of additional parts to this International Standard to deal with the types of external environments described above and single family dwellings.For existing buildings there are options included in some paragraphs which appear as ìexceptional considerations for existing buildings in developing countriesî (see ìGuidance on the Implications of the ISO Global Relevance Policyfor CEN Standardizationî, 2005) and as ìexceptional considerations for existing buildingsî where a lower order of provisions than expected in new constructions are accepted due to technical and economic circumstances only.NOTE - This International Standard is primarily written for adults with disabilities but it includes some specifications regarding the specific accessibility requirements that would suit children with disabilities. However, more detailed requirements are envisaged to be included in future revisions of this International Standard.Projektleder: Helle Harms

DSF M258786 Svarfrist: 2012-04-11Identisk med FprCEN/TR 16365Relation: CENKarakterisering af affald - Prøvetagning af affald fra udvindingsindustrierThis Technical Report gives additional and specific information on sampling for testing of waste from the extractive industry to support the development of appropriate sampling plans. This supplementary guidance to EN 14899 is required because waste from the extractive industry differs considerably from the waste types and sampling scenarios covered in the existing technical reports that support the Fra-mework Standard. This guidance document should be used in conjunction with EN 14899 and its supporting technical reports CEN/TR 15310-1 to -5.The approach to sampling described in this document is primarily focused on the requirements to undertake mineralogical and geochemical testing. Whilst much of the background information provided is also relevant to geotechnical investigations there may be important additional requirements or differences in approach for determining relevant physical parameters. For example, many geotechnical parameters are determined using field tests, which are not discussed in this document. References to alternative source documentation are provided.The guidance provided in this document applies only to above-ground exposure to radio-nuclides present in the undisturbed earth crust and not to the production, processing, handling use, holding, storage, transport, or disposal of radioactive substances that are or have been processed for their radioactive, fissile or fertile properties.This Technical Report provides some discussion of current best practice, but is not exhaustive. To clarify the text, the document provides a number of worked examples in the Annexes.Projektleder: Mette Juul Sandager

DSF M243235 Svarfrist: 2012-04-20Identisk med prEN 16023Relation: CENKarakterisering af affald - Bestemmelse af brændværdiThis European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the gross calorific value of waste at constant volume and at the reference temperature 25 °C in a bomb calorimeter calibrated by combustion of certified benzoic acid.The result obtained is the gross calorific value of the sample at constant volume with both the water of the combustion products and the moisture of the waste as liquid water. In practice, wastes are burned at constant (atmospheric) pressure and the water is either not condensed but is removed as vapour with the flue gases. Under these conditions, the operative heat of combustion to be used is the net calorific value of the fuel at constant pressure. In this European Standard the net calorific value at constant volume is described as it requires less additional determinations.This method is applicable to all kinds of wastesProjektleder: Mette Juul Sandager

PBDEs are extracted from waste samples with an orga-nic solvent, extracts are cleaned-up where appropriate and BFR are then quantified by GC-MS in the electron ionisation or electron capture negative ionisation mode. The limit of quantification is dependent on sample intake, the level of interferences as well as the applied detection technique. However, this can alter the physical-chemical conditions leading to a change in colour.NOTE 2 - An internal quality control procedure for all methods specified in this International Standard is given in Annex A.When stating the result, the procedure used (methods A to D) is also recorded.Under certain circumstances, strongly coloured water samples need to be diluted before examination or determination. However, this may alter the physical-chemical conditions leading to a change in colour.One purpose of the present revision is to forward the use of colour units (CU) instead of the traditional unit mg Pt l-1 which is often a cause of confusion, since the element Pt is hardly present in the sample. When stating the result, it is absolutely necessary to refer to the applied procedure (Clauses 4 to 7).Projektleder: Mette Juul Sandager

DS/ISO 12828-1:2012DKK 413,00Identisk med ISO 12828-1:2011Valideringsmetode vedrørende analyse af brandgasser - Del 1: Grænser for detektering og kvantificeringIn this Standard, Limits of Detection (LD) and Limits of Quantification (LQ) are defined and calculated. The Standard provides met-hods for determining suitable values for the-se two parameters for a specific analytical procedure and for a specific chemical speci-es. Care is needed in defining the required LD and LQ levels for a given analysis and application to avoid setting unnecessarily low limits. This could prove expensive, time consuming and impose undue technical restraints, with little or no effect on the accuracy and precision of the end use of the data.The use of this Standard fulfils the requirement in ISO 17025 that a laboratory carrying out chemical analysis (e.g., of fire effluents) is able to characterise and evaluate a method by such parameters as the LD, LQ, and uncertainty. Examples of where the information contained in this Standard can be applied are:1. Method validation: These parameters (i.e., LD and LQ) are required for all chemical analytical methods;they are as important as measurements of accuracy and precision.2. Classifications based on toxicity indexes: A toxicity index can never be measured as zero when concentrations of toxic species are detected., because a contribution of at least equal to the limit of detection for each measured species will be registered. Examples are shown in annex B.3. Round robin comparison between two analytical methods: For a given working range, two methods can be compared only if the limits of these methods (as calculated by using this Standard) are similar for the lower range of concentrations to be measured. For example, if one laboratory provides values near its own limit of detection, and another laboratory gives results well above its own limit of detection, the reproducibility assessment of the round robin will be artificially overestimated. In many round robin tests, bad reproducibility values can be found if some values are close to the limit of quantification and/or limit of detection. In such cases, no conclusion on the round robin can be given without an assessment of the limit of quantification value and the expression of results as described in this Standard.Examples of existing Standards where the information contained in this Standard can be used are the analytical chemical methods in ISO 19701 [2], ISO 19702 [3], ISO 5660-1 [7], and the chemical measurements in the methods discussed in ISO/TR 16312-2 [8].Projektleder: Erling Trudsø

A detailed specification on analog video trans-mission over different media including sig-nal and performance requirements is alrea-dy defined in prEN 50132-5-3. For the gro-wing number of surveillance applications based on IP video transmission the require-ments are defined in 2 standards. This stan-dard covers in the following clauses the general requirements for video transmissi-ons on performance, security and confor-mance to basic IP connectivity, based on available, well-known, international stan-dards. In areas where more detailed IP requirements are necessary additional spe-cifications are given, in order to reach com-patibility. In this European Standard no detailed and special CCTV protocols are defined. In Part 2 of this European Standard, a detailed video IP protocol, messages and commands on top of the general connectivi-ty and performance requirements of Part 1 are defined. Part 2 defines an IP protocol for full interoperability (e.g. PTZ control, even-ting, etc.) of video transmission devices used in surveillance applications.The first section of this standard defines the minimum performance requirements on video transmission for security applications in IP networks. In surveillance applications, the requirements on timing, quality and availability are strict and defined in the last section of this standard. Guidelines for network architecture on how these requirements can be fulfilled are given.The second section of this European Standard defines requirements on basic IP connectivity of video transmission devices to be used in security applications. If a video transmission device is used in security, certain basic requirements apply. First of all a basic understanding of IP connectivity needs to be introduced which requests the device to be compliant to fundamental network protocols.

These could be requirements which may be applied to all IP security devices even beyond IP video. For this reason, requirements are introduced in a second step for compliance to basic streaming protocols, used in this standard for video streaming and stream control. Since security applications need high availability and reliability, general means for the transmission of the video status and health check events need to be covered. Theses are defined in general requirements on eventing and network device management. In security proper maintenance and setup is essential for the functioning of the video transmission device: Locating streaming devices and their capabilities is a basic requirement and covered in “device discovery and description”.Projektleder: Søren Nielsen

In this part of the standard a network protocol is specified for the full interoperability of video devices. prEN 50132-5-1 specifies the minimum network performance standards and general compli-ance to existing, well-known international network standards. On top of these basic layers protocols are defined to accomplish the full interoperability of video devices. In surveillance applications IP video devices have to use standardized protocols to accomplish following functionality: video streaming, stream control, event handling, discovery, capability description, device management, PTZ control, auxiliaries and other functions.This European Standard consists of 3 sections. The first section defines protocol requirements to be fulfilled by any high-level IP video device interface.The following two sections - Annex I and Annex II- define two alterative protocols, one is based on HTTP and REST services and the second is based on Web Services.In the future a third high-level IP protocol may be defined in Annex III, which grants compatibility to the requirements of this standard series. Today no third IP video protocol implementation is available. Some areas of this transmission standard are covered by more than one approach, e.g. UPnP, ZeroConf and WS-Discovery.The network protocols recommended and defined by this Video Transmission Standard are selected with a sense for future relevance and further extensions.Video transmission equipment may be combined with additional functions, e.g. for audio or metadata transmission.Projektleder: Søren Nielsen

It specifies the requirements for alarm transmission systems providing alarm transmission between an alarm system at a supervised premises and annunciation equipment at an alarm receiving centre.This draft European Standard applies to transmission systems for all types of alarm messages such as fire, intrusion, access control, social alarm, etc. Different types of alarm systems may in addition to alarm messages also send other types of messages, e.g. fault messages and status messages. These messages are also considered to be alarm messages in the context of this standard. The term alarm is used in this broad sense throughout the document.Additional alarm transmission requirements of specific types of alarm systems are given in the relevant European Standards.Projektleder: Søren Nielsen

OFFENTLIGGJORTE FORSLAG

DSF M244391 Svarfrist: 2012-04-20Identisk med ISO/IEC DGuide 98-4.2Relation: ISOMåleusikkerhed - Måleusikkerheds rolle i forbindelse med overensstemmelsesvurde-ringThis document provides guidance and pro-cedures for assessing the conformity of an item (entity, object or system) with specified requirements. The item might be, for example, a gauge block, a grocery scale or a blood sample. The procedures can be applied where the following conditions exist:- the item is distinguished by a single scalar quantity (see 3.2.1) (a measurable property) defined to a level of detail sufficient to be reasonably represented by an essentially unique true value;NOTE - The GUM provides a rationale for not using the term `true’, but it will be used in this document when there is otherwise a possibility of ambiguity or confusion.- an interval of permissible values of the property is specified by one or two tolerance limits;

- the property can be measured and the measurement result (see 3.2.5) expressed in a manner consistent with the principles of the GUM, so that knowledge of the value of the property can be reasonably described by (a) a probability density function (see 3.1.3) (PDF), (b) a distribution function (see 3.1.2), (c) numerical approximations to such functions, or (d) a best estimate, together with a coverage interval and an associated coverage probability.The procedures developed in this document can be used to realize an interval, called an acceptance interval, of permissible measured values of the property of interest. Acceptance limits can be chosen so as to balance the risks associated with accepting non-conforming items (consumer’s risk) or rejecting conforming items (producer’s risk).Two types of conformity assessment problems are addressed. The first is the setting of acceptance limits that will assure that a desired conformance probability for a single measured item is achieved. The second is the setting of acceptance limits to assure an acceptable level of confidence on average as a number of (nominally identical) items are measured. Guidance is given for their solution.This document contains examples to illustrate the guidance provided. The concepts presented can be extended to more general conformity assessment problems based on measurements of a set of scalar measurands. Documents such as references [5, 20] cover sector-specific aspects of conformity assessment.The audience of this document includes quality managers, members of standards development organizations, accreditation authorities and the staffs of testing and measuring laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies and regulatory agencies.Projektleder: Lars Brogaard
