I. Prophetic Signs in the Struggles to Build or Rebuild a Nation

Psalm 74:9 “We do not see our symbols (signs); there is no longer any prophet, neither does any among us know for how long.”

If you can’t read prophetic signs, you don’t know what to do. There is no revelation. When you can read prophetic signs, then God will lead you into new dimensions.

There was no prophetic direction when they could not read the prophetic signs.

Exodus 19:4-6

God wants to use all those things for your good. There is something which is happening in South Africa and in this Church. God is doing something

and you need to be able to read the signs. You have a part to play in what God is doing here.

I Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”

If you cannot read apostolic signs of what God is doing, you can’t interpret the season you are in. There are certain signs that God will begin to use.

They are patterns to learn from. The failure to read signs are a dangerous thing. It would be like driving a car without being able to read the signs on the road.

If you can read the signs, you can integrate the seasons of where God is. This is for individuals and for the Church.

We are going to push something into the ministry here and individually. There are some devils which much come down which have been released over this nation. God has

a plan for South Africa as a nation; God has a plan for you as an individual. There is a SHIFT coming to this church. 30 – is a sign of higher responsibility. The FEAST and the

celebration of 30 years is not by chance. God is doing a double responsibility onto this church. It’s now time to GROW UP and put away childish things!!!!! It’s time to become responsible.

B. SIGNS

o Enemies announce a new season. Friends they keep you on the same level.o Thank God for the enemies, the problems you have had because God is about to open new things,

new doors for you.

o Israel 1st thing God began to do: BE A FIRST BORN STATUS.

God is going to make the Lighthouse a FIRST BORN status ministry. South Africa is a first born nation in Africa. It isn’t leading at the moment. God has positioned Lighthouse to set a precedent. This is why the enemy has been

attacking you but don’t be afraid or worried. That status has the backing of grace!

Romans 8:28, 29 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Jesus was the first born. We are connected to the Head (firstborn) then the Body must be firstborn!

Israel WAS GIVEN first born status! Exodus 4 Moses had to tell Pharoah that Israel was given first born status. There was an upgrade of status. God had to 1st upgrade their status so they could

negotiate as 1st borns. When Pharoah refused to release Israel, God took his first born and all of Egypt. GOD WILL GIVE YOU FIRST BORN STATUS from SLAVERY!

YOU CAN MISS YOUR FIRST BORN STATUS BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR IDENTITY! IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, THE WORLD WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER IDENTITY.

Firstborn means you have a RESPONSIBILITY. They are the ones who break through the womb for the first time.

Every enemy, power who has stood in your way will come down in the Name of Jesus. It’s time to stop playing church. God wants to put an assignment on your life. God can reassign your status as a firstborn. (Deut 33:6) (Genesis 49:1-4)

1 And Jacob called his sons and said, "Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days: 2 "Gather together and hear, you sons of Jacob, And listen to Israel your father. 3 "Reuben, you are my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power. 4 Unstable as water, you shall not excel, Because you went up to your father's bed; Then you defiled it-- He went up to my couch. Genesis 49:1-4

2nd thing: We have to deal with adulterated patterns. Patterns of how we do things, patterns of ministry.

o Adultery is more than just sex. Adultery is violating a pattern and a principle.

James 4:4 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

o THAT ADULTERATED SPIRIT WILL BE BROKEN TODAY!!o You are friends of the world and not living as a child of God.o You have to deal with areas of your life where you have adulterated patterns and principles

in your life.o There is a restorative time coming upon this church and nation.

The last can be the first. Joseph was the 2nd last but Judah lost his firstborn status.

Deut 33:6 6 "Let Reuben live, and not die, Nor let his men be few."

3rd thing: NEED THE CRY OF RACHEL Rachel was the favoured wife. Leah could not produce children. She gave him her maidservant. Jacob was still not satisfied. A nation was being built. Jacob has all these sons but Rachel

has no sons. Rachel was crying out. It’s a prophetic cry that South Africa, this church, needs. When they leave Laban and go back to his land, Rachel gives birth to Benjamin. She had

already had Joseph. In Rachel’s womb, Joseph was the first born. Benjamin was the son of the old man (Jacob). It is Joseph and Benjamin who were important in the cry of Rachel.

His love was now demonstrated when he had sexual relations with his wife, Rachel. Saul, who became Paul, came from Benjamin. You NEED the cry of RACHEL to have Joseph and Benjamin. WHAT IS THIS CRY OF RACHEL?

South Africa, has been given (as the church, the Lighthouse) the next 6 months for the cry of Rachel for South Africa. The answer is the CHURCH! Not the government.

The cry of Rachel will produce Benjamin and Joseph. Joseph: an economical and industrial prophet. Benjamin: God finance and leadership. JOSEPH is a SENT ONE CALLED TO PRODUCE in an economical and industrial

area. Deal with the adulterated patterns.

GOD WILL RELEASE from the CRY OF RACHEL….the Josephs and the Benjamins into the country. God will feed the whole world through the Benjamins, Josephs.

The only place where Daniel Shimunza has seen an integrated church is here, The Lighthouse.

Joseph had a coat of many colors – he was an industrial, economical architect. Through this, nations will be transformed. Wealth distribution – JOSEPHS DON’T AMASS WEALTH, THEY DISTRIBUTE IT!!!!!

As a church, you will be tested on this. You are not to keep the wealth. The voice of the unheard is always violence. The Josephs and Benjamins must be released into

the economy to help. YOU MUST PRESS IN LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!!! THE NEED TO RAISE ECONOMIC/INDUSTRIAL SENT ONES….

THERE IS A COAT OF MANY COLORS WHICH THEY WEAR. There will be a feeding system. NOT SOUP KITCHENS!!! THEY ARE LIMITED. You must store up in the day of abundance so in the day of lack, there will be filled

storehouses! 5 years ago,Daniel Shimunza, heard from God that he would be ministering to Gov’t officials,

etc. He studied law. Then he started a masters class. He received a scholarship. He graduated next year with 2 master’s degrees.

We must be architects of economic and industrial transformation. Some people may need to go back to school. You have to have the skills and the abilities to

understand the people in the 21st century. That is coming to the Church. We need to position ourselves. Some of you, God will raise you as a Daniel, as a Joseph; you will bring opportunity. Daniel 7:18 Daniel 11:32 Lions don’t eat lions. Daniel came from the tribe of Judah.
