WHY ARE YOU EXHIBITING @ PROPAK WEST AFRICA 2019?

We have been exhibiting at PROPAK West Africa for over five years now; we are looking to expand our position in this market and bring the Nigerian people better marketing and more cost effective packaging solutions out of the Far-East. Ultimately, our goal is to help the end consumer and to better represent products manufactured in sub Saharan Africa because we are tired of seeing so many of the raw materials exported, processed and packaged outside of Africa and re-imported back to Africa only for consumers to pay exorbitant prices whereas the people here have the ability and capability to work hard and produce products at home for their own market.

There are number of reasons why over 200 brands will want to pitch a tent with PROPAK West Africa. From being the most cost-effective marketing medium to targeted industries to showcase their technologies and services face-to-face with prospective clients, PROPAK West Africa DAILY VOX POP Crew went round the exhibition ground to get first-hand reasons exhibitors identify with PROPAK West Africa to make this year’s show the biggest and the best packaging, plastics, food processing, labelling and printing exhibition in West Africa so far. machinery aside keeping up-to-date with industry trends at the value-driven conference.

With the theme ‘Environmental Sustainability: Being Responsible’ representatives from the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), the National Association for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), provided tangible advice and insight to current market trends especially on

hot topics in packaging and plastics while emphasizing the various opportunities in sustainable materials in packaging.

Among the keynote sessions on DAY ONE are ‘Green Foreign Direct Investment: Opportunities in Packaging in Nigeria’, by Mr Emeka Offor, Director Strategic Communications for the NIPC and ‘Environmental Sustainability: The importance of reducing the impact of post consumption waste in Nigeria’.

There was also a Panel Discussion moderated by PwC with participants from the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), the International Climate Change Development Initiative, the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) and Tempo Group.

DAY 2 Conference Schedule is in PROPAK West Africa Conference 2019 Exhibition Guide or download from PROPAK West Africa website (www.propakwestafrica.com) to plan your trip.

We exhibit basically to showcase and offer our esteemed customers alternatives from other sources. We take them through a demo, because we can do online demo from our stand, so they can see and it is not all about buying machines; it is about running it, cost of maintenance, cost of consumables, cost of handling it; all these come in it. I want them to see the machine live with the demo; see the print quality and also know that we are there in the market to support them. The best part of our machine is that it can print on all substrates; be it wood, glass, plastics, nylons, cosmetics etc. all the industries need our machines, we can as well print logos, barcode, batch number, product date and anything up to four lines.

We have been exhibiting for the past four years at PROPAK West Africa and one main reason is that our customers expect that when it comes to PROPAK West Africa, AFRA is present; a lot of our machines are being displayed here. Another thing is that PROPAK West Africa has always being a successful show for AFRA. We get deals from PROPAK West Africa and it is a brand building exercise for us which makes our customers feel we are here and would forever be with them.

We are exhibiting to showcase our ranges of products from the prepress to press and down to finishing to our esteemed customers and also to introduce new features on our machines to would-be investors.

There are number of reasons why over 200 brands will want to pitch a tent with PROPAK West Africa. We exhibit at PROPAK West Africa because we see it as a good opportunity to showcase our products and we have a lot of visitors because of the quality of our machines and due to the fact that the exhibition has been very successful for us - this will be the fourth year we are participating at PROPAK West Africa.

Vista International has been exhibiting for the past three years because it is one of the best and biggest platforms to display our brands and products in Nigeria. PROPAK West Africa enables us to understand market trends and latest development in the industry. We are basically into printing and light packaging with state-of-the-art technologies to meet our customers’ needs. Vista is the reputable name when it comes to printing solutions from paper, to films, plates, developers, inks and so on.

We exhibit because it is a great exhibition for us to be and we have been at it for many years. This is not our first time here. PROPAK West Africa has grown over the years, which is good. It is very good for us because I spend two weeks every month visiting customers and in two weeks sometimes I am not able to visit some customers depending on the weather obviously. But having an exhibition like this means we get the opportunity - in just three days to see 30 or 40 of our customers, so it is ideal in that respect.
