Renaissance Program

The program runs from June 17 thru August 2 in the mornings and it's

Are you looking for a way to improve your reading, writing, speaking vocabulary and study skills in a FUN way?  The Renaissance Summer Program offers you a chance to do this with fun, friends, games, food, and awards!   Also, you could become a part of Hoover's prestigious US Academic Decathlon team!

Congratulations to Hoover Track & Field Athlete Grace Ward

• Grace represented Hoover at the CIF State Track Meet with class and dignity with a throw of just over 43 feet.

• Grace finished 7th. Out of all the high school girls in the entire state of California who competed in the shot put, Grace is the 7th best.

Quite the accomplishment!

After taking 5th period attendance, scheduled classes are escorted to the Back Quad by their teacher. You will meet with our Environmental Specialist who will explain the task at hand.

Follow-up discussion in the classroom helps everyone brainstorm how to prevent so much lunch trash in the first place.

• Return completed application (including parent/guardian signature) to counseling ASAP.
