• Remember it must be school appropriate and no face painting or masks. Each person dressed will earn Spirit Jug Points.

HOMECOMING DANCEOctober 7th from 9-11 pm here at the High School. It is an outdoor dance. You MUST have your ID and not be on Red Card, even with a prepaid ticket. There are no refunds on tickets. Tickets will be on sale during Homecoming Week. They are $5 bought at lunch & can also be purchased at the door. If you are bring a date, you must pick up a form from the office and have it filled out by Wednesday the 5th!!!!!!

HOMECOMING FLOATSFloat Building is from 6-9 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 5-8 pm on Thursday. You MUST have your ID to participate and not be on Red Card. See your class officers for more details!

HOMECOMING SHIRTSThe Poms Squad is selling Homecoming shirts during lunch. Short sleeve shirts are $12 and long sleeve shirts are $16. T shirts are limited so make sure and

gets yours!!

WRESTLERSOpen Mats be every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 until the season

starts. See Coach Tuttle for details.

What is it?A FREE sack of nonperishable, easy to prepare food and snacks to be taken

home on Friday afternoons.

For who?Anyone who could use some extra food over the weekends.

FBLA Members: Are you interested in developing your leadership skills and networking with students from all over the United States? You have that opportunity! Clinton FBLA will be attending the National Fall Leadership Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas in November. If you are interested in going to this conference stop in and see Mrs. House or Mrs. Hutcherson THIS week. Your $100 deposit and commitment form is due by Friday, October 7.

The following college/universities will have a representative visiting CHS next week.

• Spanish Club meeting on Wednesday (Oct. 5th) after school in Señora Huffman’s room.

• Refreshments will be served.• Membership dues are $10. and need to be paid before

October 28th. • A special activity has been planned for October 28th. Pay

your dues and find out what it is, it promises to be a lot of fun.

Card System

Anyone with 2 or more failing grades will be issued an academic red card. Students with red cards will eat in private dining, not be allowed any hall passes, and will not be able to attend or participate in any extracurricular activities or games. Grades will be checked weekly.

DECA members that want to “Get Wild” stop by room 213 and talk to

Mrs. Allred or your officers about the trip to Omaha, Nebraska. We will be

traveling by charter bus and the conference will be led by our very

own Micah Melling. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to meet DECA members from our central

region.

DECA members wanting to take the marketing trip to Silver Dollar City need to

stop by room 213 and talk to Mrs. Allred about signing up. We need
