Black History Month
Planning for Black History Month is underway. If you would like to participate
and/or help, the next meeting is Wednesday, NOV 5th at
2:30 in room S109B
Don’t forget The School Store is OPEN!!!!
The store is open before school, during lunch, and after school. Spirit Wear & school supplies are sold all day and snacks, drinks, & pizza will
be available after school. (The school store is located by the theater near
the salad lunch line.)
Summer Residential Governor's Program (SRGS)
All gifted students in 10th and 11th grade can apply for this summer experience. Programs are located at various
college campuses throughout Virginia. There are three programs: Performing Arts, Academic, and Mentorships. Please use GAP Focus Fusion files or link to SRGS site for
more information. Please stop by and see Mrs. Purnell in Room E 102 for
more information as well.** IMPORTANT SRGS DATES TO REMEMBER:1. Performing Arts Adjudication is November 17, at Mt View HS2. All applications are due January 9th, 2015
