I am a trained social worker who has worked in the fields of child protection and children with disabilities for 14 years in the north of England as well as short period in Hertfordshire. For the last 3 years I have had the privilege of the being the DSPL SEND family worker for Gade and Kings Langley area of Dacorum. This allowed me to work with a group of fantastic families, young people, schools and professionals, who have been working tireless to meet the needs of their own child or children they work with. I am passionate about ensuring all children and families thrive by ensuring appropriate support is in place. In my spare time I have three primary age children, two of whom have additional needs and have been known to run a few miles on a treadmill. I am looking forward to ensuring DSPL 8 has a good understanding of our local children's needs and works collectively to support all our children to thrive.
