9. Teaching the last 3 years.
My teaching experiences covers all activities group work, problem
oriented work, supervisions of project groups up to 6 students,
seminars and lectures to classes and larger gatherings in
auditoriums (up to some 70 students). I have taught internationally
in English to Ph.D. students and post graduate students in
Denmark, Croatia, Alaska and Russia.
Planning of syllabus was conducted by myself or as a member of a
group of colleagues. Usually I hand out my Power Point posters to
the students before a lecture, and I prepare them with illustrations
relevant to the themes presented. I use the technique of dialogical
pedagogy with classes whenever possible (larger auditoriums a
constraint). A mixture of seminars and group work based on the
students own choice of a problem to be analyzed within the
syllabus usually gives the best learning. It should be mentioned
though that I also have experiences with traditional discipline
oriented teaching, e.g. a two semester course twice a week in
economics at the HA education at The Copenhagen School of
Business Economics and Administration (today CBS) and in
economics at the scient. adm. education first year one semester at
the University of Greenland.
In the last three years I was at the most only doing research, but in
