Member of research team investigating and codifying Bima language (Nggahi Mbojo), which belongs to the Austronesian languages and is being spoken in East Samoa Islands in Indonesia. My team’s task was to interview a native speaker of that language and try to elicit as much grammatical and pragmatic information as we can, in order to create a Bima – English lexicon (Shoebox/Toolbox) and a Grammar. Apart from that, I have conducted a small research concerning politeness vs. rudeness formations in Bima language (June-August 2005)
