To whom it may concern,

My Name is Jamie, I’m a British citizen (white Caucasian), 37 years old. I left The UK over twelve years ago and have been living The Pearl River Delta ever since.

In that time, I’ve owned businesses, and worked in: Thailand-6 yrs, HK-2 yrs, The Pearl River Delta, S. China (Shenzen-3yrs, Zhuhai-2yrs). I owned my own bar in Thailand, which was located on the main bar street in Chiang Mai. After the Bar, my girl friend (at the time), and I bought a restaurant and guest-house, that we proceeded to make into a thriving, popular venue. Just the experience and lessons I learned from the undertaking of running those businesses, taught me many invaluable life lessons.

After 7 years, I left Thailand in 2007 and returned to Cardiff, my home city in The UK and started working as a bar manager at Barry Town F.C., club-house. I stayed in the UK 6 months until September, when the winter started to set in and Asia was calling me again. I had already been secured a job while I’d been in Thailand (through an agent), that was in Shenzhen- S. China. After moving to Shenzhen in 2008, I started teaching English. Over 7 years in China, I gained experience and people skills that are invaluable to me- lessons and experiences without which, I would not be the man that I am today.

In 2011, I moved to Hong Kong, where I lived and worked as a teacher at a prestigious kindergarten in Kennedy Town. As well as this I was tutoring private students for their IELTS exams. Again, a great many lessons learned and I stayed in HK for one year, and enjoyed every minute of it. I later returned to Mainland China to work in a prestigious boarding school, connected to Peking University.

I’ve been in Macau for 2 months and am looking for work. My fiancée and I are expecting our first baby, who will be arriving into the world mid April. I'm looking for (preferably), a permanent position with a company where I can make progress and grow with said company, ultimately making a more secure and better life for my family.  I’d describe myself as honest, straightforward, reliable, physically healthy, easy-going, well balanced, cooperative, consistent and conscientious. I also possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and can easily adapt to different situations. In the ten years I've been living in Asia, I have gained a very wide ranging set of communicative and people skills. I am a hard worker-with continuity, an objective listener and am always looking for ways to improve my skills and improve on everything I've learned so far.

I value and respect any and all responsibility given to me and take from it many rewards.

Best Regards,

Jamie Davies

Then, every three months all the students that had enjoyed the previous sessions would be picked up from their respective youth centers and taken by bus to a halls of residence( some where out side of their home towns ) where, on arrival they were given a choice of activities and classes they could attend over the coming days. The lessons were time tabled and they had a choice of which ones they most wanted to pursue .Everybody always thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was a very rewarding experience.
