Extensive experience in a design engineering environment in various industries including; manufacturing, natural gas, confectionary, pharmaceutical, mineral processing, plastics, marine engineering, petrochemical and oil & gas. The past twenty years have been spent in the petrochemical and oil and gas industries. I have spent three years with an oil company involved in facilities improvement projects and two years on a FEED /pre EPC phase for a major upstream project in Iraq. I have held positions from principal engineer to engineering manager, manager of projects and engineering and project manager on off-shore and on-shore projects.

Responsible for the management of a multidiscipline engineering team in the supervision, guidance and coordination the FEED engineering contractor, in

carrying out surveys, studies, the development of individual work packages and cost estimate for the EPC phase (Full Field Development) of the project.

Project is to provide well pad facilities, gathering flow lines and trunk lines, a central processing facility with oil/gas separation, gas treatment plant, water injection network, Sulphur transport and export handling, Oil, Gas and LPG Storage and export pipelines, modifications to existing tank farm, gas turbine power plant, Buildings, process and non-process, security facilities, permanent accommodation facilities for 3000 management, operating and maintenance personnel.

Duties and responsibilities, included the selection of multidiscipline engineering positions to be engaged in the supervision of contractor in the development of FEED contractor’s engineering deliverables. Development of design bases and philosophies and engineering management procedures. Complete review of survey reports and studies for implementation. Review and approval of PFDs P&IDs, layouts and routing drawings, data sheets, specifications, calculations and material requisitions for Long Lead Items. Ensure that all deliverables and procedures adhere to project requirements, local regulations and industry standards. Organize and participate in PFD, P&ID, HAZOP, SIL and 3D model reviews. Ensure that the team provide timely responses to reviews and technical clarifications requested by Contractor.

Following completion of the FEED activities The team was responsible for the development of ITB packages for 9 EPC Contracts.

The overall estimated value of the project for Full Field Development of surface facilities was in excess of US$ eleven billion. The cost of the FEED was US$ forty million, with 320,000 budgeted man-hours.

FEED was completed on schedule and within budget.

July 2006 to January 2014 – Worley Parsons Resources & Energy,Client: Saudi International Petrochemical Company (SIPCHEM) WCC Project (January 2012 to January 2014). Senior Project Engineer/Engineering manager, IPMT

PMC management and coordination of the EPC phase of a project to install a wire compounding plant within the Company’s existing facilities in Al-Jubail. KSA.

Duties and responsibilities include; review and approval of all of EPC Contractor’s deliverables including; project management, HSE, QA/QC, Procurement and Engineering procedures and design deliverables. Continuously monitor Contractor’s progress and request for appropriate action in the event of slippage. Coordinate reviews, of all project deliverables including; detailed design and installation drawings, data sheets, equipment specifications, material requisitions, TBE’s and Vendor deliverables to ensure that all documents adhere

to Client project requirements and specifications and industry standards, provide timely responses to technical clarifications requested by Contractor. Ensuring that Contractor develops and accurately maintains a master document register for all project deliverable, development and maintenance of a project procurement status register, in line with the project schedule. Guidance and coordination for interface activities with related EVA plant project.

GASCO Ruwais 4th NGL Train - Integrated Gas Development Project (IGD) (2009- December 2011) Project Engineering Manager, PMC

Responsible for the management of a multidiscipline engineering team in the supervision of an EPC Contractor in EPC phase of the project to provide a new NGL /LPG process facility with a capacity of 27,000 TPD NGL/LPG. The facilities comprise of fractionation, treatment and refrigeration producing Ethane, Propane, Butane and Paraffinic Naptha. The facility also includes a 30TPD suphur recovery unit.

Leading a team of engineers in the management and coordination of the work being performed by others in the EPC phase of a project for GASCO Integrated Gas Development Project (IGD)

Duties and responsibilities, includes the personnel selection for engineering positions engaged for the review and approval of EPC Contractor’s Engineering deliverables Organise P&ID reviews, participate in value engineering activities, review and approval of all engineering deliverables including; detailed design and installation drawings, data sheets, equipment specifications, material requisitions, TBE’s, to ensure that documents adhere to Client project requirements and specifications and industry standards. Carry out 3D model reviews, provide timely responses to technical clarifications requested by Contractor.Budget Cost US$2.3 Billion.

ADGAS Offshore Associated Gases project ( 2006 – 2009)Project Engineering Manager

PMC management and coordination in the implementation of EPC phase of a project for ADGAS Offshore Associated Gases Project (OAG). The project comprises pressurization and dehydration of low pressure gases on Das Island . Transmission of the high pressure gas via a 120klm x 30” subsea pipeline @ 145bara in dense phase to Abu Dhabi connected by a 125klm cross-country pipeline into Habshan Gas Plant where the gases were de-pressurized and separated before processing. The construction on Das Island was based on modularization. The remainder of the process at Habshan was stick-built. Budget Cost US$ 1.670 Billion .
