EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power (B.E.,) Graduated from National Institute
of Engineering, University of Mysore, Mysore, India in 1983.
PREVIOUS POSITION
Worked as Preventive Maintenance Manager (PMM) for Sahara Well Construction
Services (Joint venture of Schlumberger and ENAFOR) in Algeria since September 2013.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement Maintenance system policy and processes in Algeria Fleet
• Manage a team of four Maintenance supervisors (PMS Electrical,PMS Mechanical) as
direct reports
• Manage Preventive, Corrective, Breakdown and Predictive maintenance on all
Electrical, Mechanical and Drilling Equipment on all the rigs in Algeria fleet consisting
of two BOMCO SCR rigs and 3 HH AC VFD Rigs..
• Ensure compliance to Client requirements such as certifications
• Advise,plan and execute technical modifications, upgrades from time to time as per
client requirements and company self improvement plans.
• Plan, implementation of Recertifications, refurbishments and Major overhauls of major
equipment and well control equipment.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
• September 2013 to December 2015 : Worked as Preventive Maintenance Manager
(PMM) Sahara Well Construction Services in Algeria Office in Hassi Messaoud.
• December 2011 to September 2013 : Worked as Preventive Maintenance Manager
(PMM) Saxon Energy Services in Oman Sea and Land drilling Office in Muscat
• 2012 : Successfully planned and implemented Mast extension, Top drive TDS 11 SA
installation on Rig 296 and TDS 11 SA installation on Rig 265 (Heavy Land Rigs) and
Soft torque system installation for both TDS VFDs in Oman.
• September 2007 to November 2011 : Worked as Preventive Maintenance Manager
(PMM) Schlumberger Drilling Services Office in Muscat. Successfully panned and
implemented Soft torque system installation on Rig 279 TDS VFD.
• 2010 : Successfully planned Mast extension, Top drive TDS 11 SA installation on Rig
219 (Heavy Land Rig in Oman.

• September 2007 : Successfully Planned and implemented Engines,PCR replacement
and corresponding modifications on Rig291 (Heavy Land Rig ) in Oman
• September 2006 to August 2007 : Worked as Roving Preventive Maintenance
Supervisor ( Electrical) in Muscat Fleet . Installed TDS11SA on Rig 279 Successfully
completed Rig 296 Startup in Oman. Successfully swapped obsolete Power control
rooms by newly built Oilfield Electric Marine(OEM) Power control Rooms on Rigs
207, 219,296. Was involved from the design stage up to implementation of swap on
corresponding rigs.
• July 2006 to March 2007: Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 296 (Heavy Land Rig)
in Oman.
• January 2006 to June 2006 : Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 207(Medium Land
Rig)
• May 2003 to December 2005: Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 279
Refurbishment, modifications for PDO contract in Dubai, Startup later in Oman.
Started the rig 13 days before planned spud date on new contract.
• July 2002 to April 2003: Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 248 ( Heavy Land Rig
with TDS) in Algeria.
• June 2001 to June 2002: Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 247 ( Heavy Land Rig)
in Algeria
• May 1990 to May 2001: Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 208 (Medium Land Rig )
in Oman
• February 1989 to April 1990: Worked as Chief Electrician on Rig 21 (Heavy Land
Rig) in India.
• November 1988 to January 1989: Worked as Chief Electrician on SEDCO 252 (Jack
up Rig). Survived surface blowout in India.

drillship)
