Summary Mr. Uribe has over 20 years of international experience in multi-discipline of Coordination and General Supervision in the construction of Fertilizer Plants, Oil Platforms, Refineries, Pump/Compressor stations, Thermoelectric, Hydroelectric, Gas Power Plants, Cement Plants, Petrochemical Plants & Shutdowns Refineries.

Coordinates various construction sub-contractors and discipline supervisors in the execution of piping works as Aboveground Piping Activities

Ensures the quantity of the piping work executed by the construction sub-contractors and monitor the compliance with established schedule

Evaluates the construction piping sub-contractors work capability according to the programs that have to be implemented and promote corrective action where necessary

Ensures the proper execution of inspection and test in accordance with the field quality control plan and monitor the adequacy result

Resolves the cases of non-conformity with the support of piping superintendent where necessary

Provides support to the field engineering works such as field revision of isometric drawing and Technical Site Instruction (TSI) which are agreed by sub-contractors as per instruction

Understands and interprets all design, fabrication and erection drawings, and material specification including other engineering data. In addition, arranges for clarification of any project drawing or specification which requires additional information for by construction or subcontractors and ensures applicable project specifications and standard codes were correctly executed during piping fabrication and erection

Conducts site surveys with sub-contractors engineering group; to propose new routes and locations for expansion of facilities where interference occurred

Planning

Active member of the project team participating in the construction planning including failsafe meetings and safe production initiatives.

Safety

Ensures the work is performed in a safe manner and accordance the client’s safety rules and government safety regulations.

Ensures that all site activities are performed in environmentally safe and responsible manner

Conducts weekly HSE assessments and safety walk through, as well as safe and unsafe auditing.

Construction Completion, Turnover and Commissioning

Organizes the preparation of piping systems for testing based on the test pack limits specified in the approved test packs

Hydrostatic Tests

Prepares test packages per piping system and test package priority schedule

Attends final walkthrough of completed piping systems and verify clearing of all punch list prior to mechanical completion

Supports pre-commissioning / commissioning activities, when necessary

Manages technical office for development of As-Built.

Project Management

Monitors the progress with schedules and updating to lead construction engineer

Prepares daily sub-contractor man-hour reports.

Estimates the modification activities including additional works; to assure the conformance with the installation budget

Attends coordination meetings with client representatives, site manager and project management team; to assist on all commissioning activities


Provides daily progress reports in accordance with the Project Managers Requirements.
