RESEARCH CREATIVE/WORK Focus: Research focuses on design/planning of elements and systems that integrate urban amenities, culture, and density with close awareness and stewardship for nature’s patterns and processes. Present work focuses on water, low-impact transit, civic infrastructure + open-space; and green infrastructure planning, with a particular focus on water as a design element. Scales of exploration range from watershed to neighborhood. Work is often supported by GIS assisted analysis of landscape and settlement patterns that examines a full spectrum of natural and developed land character from terrain to urban form including socio-cultural, aesthetic pleasure, climate, terrain, water, ecological, and land processes.
