Explosive Spreading of Radio Stations in Japan 3
In 1950s, lower frequencies such as VHF band in public sectors were mainly used.
In 1985, telecommunication business was opened to private sectors. In 1990s, mobile
telecommunication has explosively disseminated and evolved.
In 2018, the subscription of mobile phone, PHS and BWA exceeded 170 million. The
number exceeded the population.

In principal, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Devices etc. with Technical Standard Compliance Mark can be brought to Japan. Following devices are the exemption when the usage is limited within 90 days from the entry.
