In the last 4000 years, its morphology has been formed by human interventions and various uses. It is a hidden spot between two settlements and with the connecting archeological park and ancient burying-ground, it is an ideal location for a placid, 21 st century development. The development can focus on the „smart” showcasing of the cultural heritage, the low-tech reinterpretation of touristic needs, or the redefinition of local agriculture, as current concepts seek to demosh the existing cultivations. The current archeological park plays the traditional role as a visitor centre, therefore the task is to research and design the architectural framework for interpretation, and connection of the heritage sites: the earth fort, the rampart, and the settlement remains in between them. The Eurovelo bicycle road is planned to cross the site from Érd, there is an opportunity to estabsh a biker rest on the site, next to the river. The design task is closely related to the concepts based on the actual anniversary of Százhalombatta and can be connected to other works of the Faculty, the Danurb project by the Urban Department or the excavation projects by the Industrial Design Department. Coaborative help, and rich research materials are avaable from the Geographical Museum of Érd, and the Matrica Museum of Százhalombatta. The archeological excavation is actuay taking place at the earth fort. Both museums, and cities are partners for architectural projects concerning „slow” tourism.
