CUB SCOUT LEADER SPECIFIC TRAINING
Presented by the Balboa Oaks and Cahuenga Districts
Tuesday evenings May 19th and May 26th, 2009
(You must attend both evenings to complete the course.) 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
at LDS Church, Van Nuys

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Cubmasters, Assist. Cubmasters, Den Leaders, Assist. Den Leaders, Webelos Leaders, Assist. Webelos Leaders, Pack Trainers, Pack Committee
Members, Parents... Any and all Cub Scout Leaders and adult participants!
THE NUTS N’ BOLTS CUB LEADER TRAINING… To be trained as a Cub Scout Leader and receive your “Trained” patch, you must also complete: 1.) Cub Scout Leader Fast Start (online in English at http://olc.scouting.org/), 2. Youth Protection Training (online in English at http://olc.scouting.org/ and in Spanish at http://old.scouting.org/pubs/ypts/ypt.jsp?p=i-00&c=23&a=off), and 3.) This Is Scouting (the new online course replacing New Leader Essentials, at http://olc.scouting.org/).
COST: $20.00 (total, for both evenings)* Kosher dinner (pizza, or something similarly simple) will be provided both evenings.
*If cost is an issue, please contact Greg Small at the email or number below. Some scholarships are available.
WEAR YOUR CLASS “A” UNIFORM IF YOU HAVE ONE… Come anyway, if you don’t!!!
