Cutting-edge technology, innovative programs, and dedicated faculty keep CSUEB students connected to industry throughout the region — and competitive in whatever career fields they choose. PIONEER FUTURES

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AND ALLIED STUDIESOur undergraduate programs in Kinesiology and Physical Education and Hospitality, Recreation, and Tourism (HRT) break new ground in the fields of health and wellness. We offer dynamic programs that maximize new technologies and push students to consider diverse perspectives in their studies. Our Kinesiology classes look at physical movement through a broad lens of mental, emotional, social, and historical contexts, and our HRT students use boundless fieldwork opportunities to develop sustainable solutions that have global impact. CEAS is also home to future teachers, who can begin working in the classroom without having to wait to start a credential program.

COLLEGE OF LETTERS, ARTS, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

COLLEGE OF SCIENCEExplore the mysteries of dark matter in physics; pioneer changes in medicine with chemistry; design new software through computer sciences; or reimagine the skyline in engineering. The College of Science is where innovation and creativity are tested against principles of hands-on experimentation, research, and collaboration between students and faculty from different disciplines. Our Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) graduates go on to break boundaries at forward-thinking, in-demand Bay Area companies, such as Tesla, GoogleX, NASA, Caltrans, and more.

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS CBE classes are filled with diverse faculty and students that bring different ideas and answers to questions of global importance — and we offer real-world projects that put your problem-solving to work for local companies. Our undergraduate degrees in areas like Business Administration and Economics give students the comprehensive foundation they need to make critical decisions with ethical integrity, while also promoting specialties of interest, such as marketing, IT management, and entrepreneurship, or government, international trade, and finance.

Choosing a major from the 22 arts, social sciences, and humanities degrees offered through CLASS means nearly endless possibilities — but our graduates are connected through their ability to think and act critically and creatively. Whether you want a future in politics, environmental studies, the arts, human development, criminal justice, or any of our other many majors, CLASS connects students to experienced professionals working in the field, and encourages complex thinking strategies that consider issues of social justice.
