Careers run in our family.

Focused on you and your future. As a member of our family, not only will you be mentored by encouraging faculty who will help you prepare for your chosen profession—but you’ll also have access to tremendous career preparatory programs that go well beyond just achieving a notable university degree.

Co-op programs and internship opportunities. Each of our undergraduate students has the opportunity to engage in field experience, whether through clinical assignment and student teaching or through internship and co-op. Our Cooperative Education department proudly places 100% of

students who meet the co-op/internship program requirements. The result—90% secure jobs at participating firms, or in related field fields, upon graduation. That’s higher than the national mean.

Careers Center services. The Careers Center staff is dedicated to helping you excel beyond graduation. Students have access to various programs that provide assistance and help you to determine your best profession, develop a strong resume, interview effectively, and improve your networking skills both in person and on social media. The Career Center also hosts on-campus career fairs every fall and spring. Plus, alumni have access to this robust career center for life.

Year after year, our men’s and women’s athletic teams—all 14 of them—rank highly in prominent college tournaments including the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Philadelphia connections. The city of Philadelphia is often rated as one of the best places to be a student in the USA. As the second largest city on the East Coast, it’s a major hub that hosts a Stock Exchange, the headquarters of many global firms, more than 161 hospitals, and access to more than 400 elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the region. Such a backyard provides opportunities for internships, co-op working experiences, clinical and student teaching placements—and employment after graduation.

An area rich in history, culture, and fun. Life at Holy Family University provides the benefit of

a quiet college campus with access to one of the world’s liveliest cities, all ready to be explored. The neighborhoods of “Philly” are famous for history, commerce, sports, cheesesteaks, fine dining, nightlife, theatre, and art. There’s even an annual Campus Philly CollegeFest. Plus, the outlying counties of Greater Philadelphia are also a cultural and entertainment delight packed with numerous options for students of all tastes and moods.

Easy to get to and close to so many. Along the I-95 corridor, Philadelphia is a 1.5 hour train ride to New York City and only 2 hours from Washington DC by train, making it extremely accessible for so

many of our families. It’s home to an international airport. Our Northeast campus sits 20 minutes from Center City, only 10 minutes from the suburbs, and is conveniently situated near both SEPTA’s R7 regional Torresdale train station and Route 66 & 84 buses. Our other two locations, one at Newtown and the other in Bensalem, have their own class schedules and are also easily accessed by public transportation or by car. We also offer a daily shuttle between our Bensalem and Main Philadelphia campus.
