About CRSI The Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) was established in 1999 as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the country's independence. Currently, CRSI represents more than 2000 lifetime members, who participate in the study, practice, teaching and promotion of chemistry. The main objectives of the CRSI are to recognize, promote and foster talent in chemistry and chemical sciences and to improve the quality of chemical education at all levels. The CRSI organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia and other related programs to facilitate and promote research in all branches of chemistry.

About the Symposium The 25th CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry (CRSI-NSC-25) is scheduled to be held in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur from July 19 to July 21, 2019 with the support of the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI). The organizing committee at IIT Kanpur takes the pleasure of inviting you to attend this symposium. The symposium includes medal lectures, poster presentations and special lectures by eminent chemists and scientists working in the allied areas of chemistry from India and abroad. The  National Symposium in Chemistry (NSC) provides a platform for scientists, teachers and students to discuss the recent developments in chemical sciences across the sub-disciplines. In addition, NSC creates opportunities to exchange ideas and to build long lasting collaborations in the frontier areas of chemistry and its allied disciplines. We look forward to welcoming you at IIT Kanpur.

Registration The participants are required to complete online registration and pay the registration fee via the online portal. The registration fee is non-refundable and it includes full participation, conference kit, lunch/dinner/refreshments. For more details see: www.iitk.ac.in/CRSI2019

Accommodation Accommodation for all the invited speakers will be provided in the Institute Visitors’ Hostel. For all other delegates and participants, a prior booking (during the registration) is required. Accommodation will be provided in the Visitor’s Hostel based on the availability. Rooms will be allocated based on the first-cum-first-serve basis. Student participants will be given accommodation in Student Hostels at a rate of Rs. 250/per student/per night (twin sharing). The accommodation fee will be charged during the registration.

Abstract Submission Last date of abstract submission is 15 June, 2019. Interested participants may submit an abstract of their original research work for poster presentation. Poster size should be A0 portrait (1189 x 841 mm). Abstract template and the process of abstract submission can be obtained from the conference website.

Invitation for Sponsorship The NSCs have been successful in attracting large number of researchers, university teachers, PhD students and industrialists of the country and in catalyzing discussions on the recent advances in the field of chemistry and the allied fields. We are expecting about 500 participants for the 25th NSC at IIT Kanpur. Undoubtedly, this meeting is one of the most important and the biggest meetings in the area of chemical sciences of this year in India, and will be the most ideal platform for the companies to showcase their new products, offers, and present their contributions in the field of chemical sciences.
