Note: Unless otherwise stated, the parts are worked in rounds. Instead of 2 chains for the beginning, you can also use the magic ring.

Crochet PatternFish Bone

To mark the beginning of the rounds, take a strand of yarn (running stitch marker) in contrasting color. When you finish the last stitch of your round, drape the strand to the other side. When the crocheted part is finished, you can simply pull out the strand.

Head

Starting at the head with color 1, 2 x ch or Magic RingR 01 6 x sc (6)R 02 inc x 6 (12)R 03 (2 x sc, inc) x 4 (16)R 04 (3 x sc, inc) x 4 (20)R 05 5 x sc, insert a thread for the position of the eye,

9 x sc, insert thread for the position of the second eye, here you have to plug inthe safety eyes in round 07, 6 x sc (20)

R 06 (4 x sc, inc) x 4 (24) R 07 24 x sc (24), insert safety eyes

R 08 (5 x sc, inc) x 4 (28)R 09 27 x sc, sc with color change to color 2 (28)R 10 (6 x sc, inc) x 4 (32)R 11 32 x sc (32) stuff head with fiberfill R 12 now flaten the piece and crochet the two sides together. Crochet only the

back loops of both sides together with 15 x sl st, see pictures Fasten off, cut the thread and sew it.

R 19 Fold sides flat and crochet them together with 9 x sc , from here crochet in rows, turn, see picture

R 20 3 x ch, trinc into the same stitch, then crochet dc, hdc, sc, sl st, sc, hdc, dc,trinc and 3 x ch und sl st into the same stitch.Fasten off, cut the thread and sew it.

Fishbones

Large (2 x)2 x ch with ecruR 01-06 6 x sc (6) stufffasten off, cut the thread, leave a long thread to sew it

Medium (2 x)2 x ch with ecruR 01-05 6 x sc (6) stufffasten off, cut the thread, leave a long thread to sew it

Small (2 x)2 x ch with ecruR 01-04 6 x sc (6) stufffasten off, cut the thread, leave a long thread to sew it

Finishing

First sew the backbone to the head, then sew thesmall bones on the backbone. Pin them with pins,then you can roughly estimate the gaps betweenthe bones.

Sew the bones to the backbone, first on one side, then on the other. The large bone is close to the head, then put the middle and then the small bone to the backbone.
