We are excited to welcome you to our female production sale. As our operation has expanded we have decided to
improve yet maintain the number that works for our operation. As it’s been an interesting year from starting out with the dry soil condition to ending up with an extended harvest due to moisture, we would like to thank all that have helped out this year, to our daughters and son in laws and the rest of the family, friends and sales management. We are bringing you a range of females that we feel condent in and you will nd that we haven’t kept all the favorites. As these females have worked hard for us producing top calves they will work hard for you as well. We’re proud to offer powerful, consistent, and quality females that will make lots of miles. We’re have bred the females to top AI sires and own home raised sires to improve and continue quality, as well introducing our new herd sire HA Outside 5307. We really appreciate all of our past customers for showing condence and interest in our program and always look forward to meeting and doing business with new customers. PRODUCTION SALE The Gabert Family, Rick, Sharon and their daughters Nicole, Valentina, and Mathilda own and operate this long running family farm. Raising Angus cattle has now included the 4th generation and by all accounts that is certainly quite a milestone. The Crooked Creek program has utilized some of the most proven, popular genetics available. They have added genetics right from the front of sales developing some excellent already proven cow families. Now a new bull has come to the forefront, HA Outside 5307, he being a Half Brother to none than other HA Cowboy Up 5405, the $350,000 Hinman Angus bull who sold to Wilkes Bros. and Express Ranches. He set a new record for the highest selling bull in Montana. Offering a 1/3 Semen Interest in “5307” could be one of the sale features of the season. A few services of “5307” are being offered including the special Lot 2 cow and the great lead off bred heifer. A very busy family together with some health issues have made this sale necessary. Many of the females offered would not be sold if the need for down sizing wasn’t a priority. HA Outside 5307 was the pick of the Flush from the fames cow family “Rito Blackcaps” in the 2016 Hinman Angus Bull Sale. The flush cow combines 2 very influential individuals, Sitz New Design 349M, the bull whose influence is most evident in the Sitz Angus herd. The next would be HA Rito Blackcap 9038, a prolific cow. The topside of “5307” combines 2 breed giants KG Solution 0018, the CE High Seller at $62,500 in the 2011 KG Ranch Bull Sale to Richard Angus Ranch and then later to Genex as a partner. The next would be SAV Bismarck 5682 whose 2335 progeny include some of the most sought after females in the breed. HA Outside 5307 is most impressive – starting with a great foot, large and very straight sided with depth of heal. Structure is sound long strided and great tracking. He never looks wrong. His EPD’s point to a CE balanced performance bull whose carcass data will certainly enhance most programs. Proudly, clean sheathed with a very docile demeanor. HA Outside 5307 has produced frozen semen that has been used successfully. Purchasing either females bred or the semen offering will give you lead time in one of the most sought after genetic options available today.
