    Oxford 152, Bulimba

Retaining the original layout from a 2003 refurbishment, the cold, white finishes were made warmer and mixedseating styles were added to replace the predominanthigh/dry bars in place.

Endeavoring to create consistency and personalitythrough the spaces, new tables and padded bistro seatingwas installed.Curtains now define the existing function spaces which

were open to the whole of the venue, and art and decorwere added to further enhance the interior. Furniture wasgiven soft, textural upholstery to offset the more industrialfinishes in order to attract female clientele, which was akey consideration in the design.

A main function space towards the rear was definedwith curtaining, a no-maintenance artificial green wall, comfortable seating and artwork.

    Morrison Hotel, Woolloongabba

Taking influence from the 1920s era of the building, wechose Speakeasy era paint colours, ceiling roses and aGatsby style carpet to bring some wow factor into theinterior.

The pre-existing Naked Whiskey concept was furtherenhanced with the design and install of a wallpaperfeaturing vintage male and female nudes to the upperwalls of the Whiskey Bar and to the curved walls of the

new dining area, to great visual effect.

Vintage industrial outdoor seating and astroturf floorcovering was added externally to enhance the streetpresence, as the hotel sits on an awkward island betweenthe busway and Captain Cook Bridge entrances atWoolloongabba.

    Lounge Concept

A set of concepts was provided to the businessdevelopment manager of a local magazine in order tokeep a long term advertiser on board. The particularadvertiser, a French furniture and home wares store, feltthat the male demographic of the magazine would beuninterested in French style interiors.

Working through their stock, I provided a few schemes, photoshopped together, using their furniture pieces and a

few additional accent pieces from other stores to illustratethe ability of their range to interest a male demographic(inner suburban, single, mid 30s, professional services).

As the industrial interior trend is still very popular, theinterior was proposed as within a Teneriffe Woolshedstyle apartment, with brick and timber finishes. The darkerfurniture was offset with bold, colourful pieces

Hi, Im Clinton Moore and I began creativeblock interiors back in 2012 with a goal to create fun,

inspiring hospitality and retail spaces that draw people in and engage them to keep returning. I am

also looking to expand into residential projects.

I focus on the clients needs, while also aiming to ensure the desired patron will continue to visit,

thus adding value to the business. I dont talk in convoluted design speech and try to ensure that all

concepts and ideas are easily communicated to all stakeholders involved.

In the past year I have worked extensively in the hospitality sector to deliver renovations to a

number of bars and pubs. With creativeblock, I can help to maximise a space through fresh new

finishes and concepts, revitalise a venue of any size and scale, and work within budgets big or

    small.

I can provide concept services, source finishes and decor, and can assist with the interior of

something as small as a single room to an entire venue or retail space.

For commercial property managers and owners, I can help increase the value of the property, as

well as ensure tenant retention through simple lobby and entrance refurbishments, as well as assist

new or existing tenants with their

    refurbishment requirements.

creativeblock can also create concepts and mockups to use in advertising, allowing prospective

tenants or buyers to see the potential in each space.

So if you or your clients have the need for a fresh perspective, go ahead and give me a call!
