The department of Business Administration came into existence in June 2008, through enrolment of its first batch of students to its flagship two-year full-time MBA Programme offered by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and is recognized by the AICTE. The Department is engaged in pursuing research, consultancy and training apart from imparting quality management education through experienced teaching staff, Industry Interface, Digital Learning Library Facilities and computer laboratory

At present, the Department is running the Doctoral Programme (Full time & Part time) & Master of Business Administration (Full time) and growing fast offering high-quality outcome based experiential education in core business and management disciplines. Our MBA students are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue an executive career in organizations of the private and the public sector.

The MBA programme is offered with the following specializations

• Human Resource Management,• Marketing Management,• Financial Management, and• Dual specialization of the above*

*A minimum of 25 students should enroll for the specialization to be offered.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Any Graduation Degree of minimum three years duration from an UGC recognized university with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of students SC/ST).

2. Appeared and Qualified in PGCET/K-MAT/MAT/ CAT Conducted by a competent authority.
