Creating an Animated Sea Aquarium in PowerPoint Directions: Use PowerPoint to create an aquarium. The presentation will include graphics, animated gifs, and the applications animations and motion paths. Open Microsoft PowerPoint
Create a title slide including your name and project title.
Go to "NewSlide" and choose "Blank"
You will save this file as "{yourname}-aquarium" Collecting and saving pictures (Google and other image sites etc.).
-First, add a background. Find one with good resolution and quality.
-Click on the Design Tab, then click on the small dialog box in the Background Group
-Click on Fill, then click Picture or Texture Fill then click on File
-Now choose the background picture of your choice and click Insert.
Select an images and animated picture of sea life.
-Click on the Insert Tab, then click on Picture
-Now choose the fish picture of your choice and click Insert. -**To see your fish move, you need to view your PowerPoint as a slide show. Go to Slide Show - From Beginning OR click the slide show button.
Adding Animations
Select an object to animate
Click on the Animations Tab, and select an Effect option- Click on the preview button to watch your fish swim!
o You can actually have the graphic move off the page by placing your graphic off the page. Creating your own path for a fish
Insert another picture of a fish on your slide
Make sure the fish is selected, then click on the Animations Tab, then click on Click on Add Effect - Motion Paths - Draw Custom Path - Curve Next take your mouse and click where you want your line to curve or change direction.
o Hit Escape when you are done creating your motion path.
Background image
Minimum of 6 animated objects
Include Motion path and a sound effect
Animation Library
Animated Gif Finder
Transparency - If some of your graphics have a white or solid background and want to remove it (transparent)
Adding Sounds – Insert an audio clip to an object to add sound effects.
Click on the Insert Tab - Sound - Sound from File
Now go to sound file saved location.
