Principal’s Award Chloe Scholz Merit Awards Casey Fischer, Kyle Wolter x 2, Joel McRae, Adam Wolter Class Dojo Awards Week 8 – Chloe Scholz, Natasha Beckett Week 7 – Chloe Scholz, Natasha Beckett, Casey Fischer, Bailey Lieschke, Madeleine Clancy Class Party Next Wednesday will be our class party day. Can each child bring something in to share with the class such as chips, lollies, chocolates, popcorn etc. I will supply drinks. We will also watch a movie and enjoy our last day together for 2014. Children need not wear school uniform on this day, but don't wear anything too nice - if it is warm we may have a run under the sprinkler! End of year reports End of year reports will be handed out at Presentation night next Tuesday.

Swimming Lessons All the children are participating actively and showing improvement in their swimming abilities. They have handled the change of routine well. We are very lucky to have had such nice weather so far. Thank you to Denise Coghlan for teaching the children during these lessons - she has done a wonderful job! Thanks Creeky! Thanks to our wonderful bus driver, Mr Peter Creek. He always greets the kids with a smile when they get on the bus, and gets our most treasured possessions - our children - to and from school safely each day. It is a tough job to concentrate on the road with a bus full of children - thanks Peter! Presentation Night Our school’s Presentation Night will be held at the Pleasant Hills Hall on Tuesday night 16th December commencing at 7pm. The P & C Association has asked all families to provide 2 plates of food for the supper afterwards. Reminder to all parents that Santa will be visiting too! Farewell Year 6 students We sadly say farewell next week to our Year 6 students and 2014 school leaders, Casey, Tegan and Joel. We hope you have enjoyed your schooling at Pleasant Hills and we wish you all the best in High School next year.

Thank You Thank you to all students, parents and the wider community for your support of our school during 2014. It has been a mixed-up year with changing Principals, but I have been impressed with the resilient nature of the students as well as the welcoming and caring nature of our parents. I wish you all a safe and happy Christmas, and am looking forward to a productive 2015.
