Step 2 of any enrollment is to select students. Select only the students who are expected to be taking the exam on the same day, at the same time.
• This is different than putting a whole class into a course…this is about who will all take the exam at the same time

Craft Certification Online Written Examination Process
By submitting the order, the students will gain access to the exam, in the exact same way they gain access to all LMS courses. The procedure outlined in the prior slides details how this system will be used for acting as a toggle to begin the exam. With the little workflow as shown, the system can be used in this manner.
The next 3 parts of this presentation detail how:• Reports are reviewed by TDs and TDAs (CCWE Proctor Level Access)• Reports are reviewed and printed by Instructors• The exam is taken by the student and how they will identify and review their score

Craft Certification Online Written Examination Process
It is important to recognize the need of the CCWE proctor to manage the room the student is taking the exam. There are no functions on the LMS for monitoring a student’s ”focus”. This term is used to identify whether the test taker is viewing or doing anything other than the exam. It is the job of the CCWE Proctor to monitor the examinees and maintain the security of the questions.
For questions on the use of the LMS for CCWE, please contact:Greg [email protected]

› Craft Certification Performance Evaluations evaluate Knowledge, Skill and Ability, and align differently, depending on the Type of Evaluation
57
› There are Two types of Performance Evaluations– Incremental Evaluations
› Align with specific hands-on tasks, or related hands-on tasks› Are used primarily to evaluate Apprentices for Craft Certification› May be used to evaluate any electrical worker for skill assessment› May be delivered in a JATC’s Hands-On Lab facility
– Journeylevel Evaluation› Is an evaluation which covers multiple topics› May be used for Apprentices, CEs, and Journeylevel workers› Must be delivered in a pre-configured 10’ x 12’ Craft Certification Booth

› Incremental Performance Evaluations were developed to allow a JATC to verify Craft Certification for Apprentices in the JATCs existing hands-on labs
› These evaluations require that spaces be configured to meet the specifications for each evaluation
› Each evaluation is different, and has specific requirements
› Generally each of the Incremental Evaluations requires Apprentices to perform at a higher level on fewer tasks than is required in the Journeylevel Evaluation

› One misconception about Craft Certification Evaluation Spaces and Booths is that the area can only be used for Craft Certification
› This is incorrect. Craft Certification Spaces should be used for training as well as evaluation
› Training should not be to the same tasks as are included in the Craft Certification Evaluations, but can include similar tasks using the same equipment
› Craft Certification Booths allow the instructor to transfer classroom learning to applied hands-on learning
