The first Mechanical Engineering class that I took, Statics, has provided me with a very strong background of Mechanical Engineering. I have also taken Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics which have taught me all the basics I need to know regarding the functioning of various static and dynamic systems. Furthermore, I have a very sound understanding of the practical aspects in the courses such as heat transfer and mechanics of materials. As I have performed numerous lab experiments in labs. Also, my minor in Mathematics has helped me develop strong analytical problem solving skills. My internship at Atlas Honda Limited has helped me gain valuable experience regarding the professional work environment. It taught me how to be a team player, coordinate with everyone and pay attention to detail. I learnt proper communication and organizational skills in order to ensure everything is running smoothly. Most importantly, I realized the importance of time management skills. I am currently working in SECMC (Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company) as a Graduate Trainee Engineer. I am working with the company which is going to develop Pakistan’s first open cast mine along with a mine mouth coal fired power plant. This is the biggest
