Learn how to start and finish a piece of crochet as well as some of the basic stitches. You will learn how to crochet flat and in the round while making some pretty flowers. All materials included. Granny Squares £30 Saturday February 27 th 2-4:30 Granny Squares are back in style in a big way. Learn how to create your own and how to transform them into beautiful blankets and beyond. The class will cover different styles of Granny Square plus triangles, hexagons and more! Not suitable for complete beginners. Please bring a 4mm crochet hook. Tunisian Crochet £30 Saturday April 16 th 2-5 Tunisian Crochet is not quite crochet and is not really knitting - you use a long hook to obtain a fabric that looks more woven. This is a mixed level workshop suitable for those who have never done Tunisian Crochet before as well those who want to take their existing skills further. All materials are provided. Knitting Introduction to Knitting £30 Saturday February 20 th 10:30-1 Saturday April 23 rd 10:30-1 Learn the basic knitting stitches while making a vintage cotton washcloth for the bathroom or kitchen. It is likely you will need to finish your project at home but you will have all the skills you need to do so. Young participants (age 8+) are welcome if accompanied by an adult. All materials are provided. Knitting Next Steps £30 Saturday March 19 th 2-4:30 Take your knitting beyond the basics. Try some different methods of casting on and off and how they suit different projects. Learn how to shape your knitting by increasing and decreasing. Sewing Beginners Machine Sewing £30

Learn to use a sewing machine while making a tote bag with one of our gorgeous range of fabrics. We will cover threading the machine, the basic straight and zig zag stitch and some problem solving and troubleshooting. All materials are included for this course, as well as the use of our sewing machines. Introduction to Machine Patchwork and Quilting £30

• Saturday February 6th 10-1 • Saturday Match 19th 10-1

In this class we will cover the basic skills you will need to make your own patchwork quilts. Over the 3 hours, we will piece a basic mini quilt top, then layer it up, quilt and bind it leaving you with a small piece of completed wall art to take home with you. All materials are included for this workshop. Dresden Plate Block £30

Learn to create this spectacular traditional block. Create a circle without having to sew curves! We will work with a patchwork template to create our own Dresden plates with option for customisation. Choose to finish your block as a mini quilt with a simplified binding technique or an envelope back cushion. Please bring 2 fat quarters of solid fabric for the background and backing fabrics plus a selection of fabrics for the block wedges.

Sewn Project Bags £30 • Saturday February 20th 2-4:30 • Thursday April 21st 10:30-1

If you want to learn a range of techniques for bag making, then this is the course for you. During the class, we will construct a lined drawstring bag perfect for carrying around your current project and a small zippered accessory pouch. This course is suitable for people who can already use a machine and want to take their skills further. Please bring 3 fat quarters of fabric, all other materials are provided. Patchwork Tablet Case £30

Create a padded case for your tablet whether you use an iPad, a Kindle or anything else. Stitch up a patchwork exterior with a pocket for your headphones or other accessories. Customise the inside to securely hold your choice of tablet and add a Velcro closure. Please bring 0.5m of fabric to line the case and a selection of fat quarters or scraps for the patchwork exterior and other accents. Plus bring the tablet you want the case to fit. Messenger Bag £45

• Sunday March 13th 11-3:30 Create a professional looking and unique messenger bag in this all day class. Stuffed full of useful features like an adjustable strap and an internal zipped pocket. You will learn lots of useful techniques including how to work with magnetic snaps and other bag hardware. Please bring 1m of main fabric plus half a metre of contrasting fabric for the flap and trim and a packed lunch. All other materials provided. Really Useful Shoulder Bag £45

• Sunday April 17th 11-3:30 This is my go to bag! I use mine everyday because it is big enough to carry everything I need for work while still being pretty. It features multiple internal and external pockets, a reinforced base, shoulder straps and ties to add shaping. Please bring 4 x 0.5m of fabric to work with.

Free Machine Embroidery Beginners Free Machine Embroidery £30

• Wednesday April 13th 10:30-1 This relaxed yet informative workshop will introduce you to the art of free machine embroidery. You will also learn how to problem solve so that you will be able to overcome any teething difficulties. You will create a range of samples to take away with you. Machine Embroidered Organza Flower £30

• Wednesday February 24th 10:30-1 In this class you will work with delicate organza fabric and free machine embroidery to create stunning flowers for decoration or as accessories. Learn to use a soldering iron(!) to accurately cut fabric and different methods of embellishment. This class is suitable for complete beginners and includes all materials. Applique and Machine Embroidery £30

• Wednesday March 30th 10:30-1 Experiment with different methods of applique and how to embellish them using free machine embroidery. These techniques can be used to create works of art as well as being transferable to other areas of sewing. In the class you will create a selection of samples to inspire future projects. This class is suitable for beginners or those looking to improve their skills and includes all materials.
