HistoryEmurtel, inc. is a technology leader company which offers its clients Engineering, Installation, Maintenance and Operation in the Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Energy and Electricity , and Industrial and Integral Maintenance fields.

Brief history

• 1998 The company Emurtel, inc. is constituted

• 2000 Emurtel spreads nationally, working for the main Telecommunication Operators of the country

• 2001 Emurtel sets up its civil service department, working for the main Governments, both regional and central, and the most important City Halls

• 2002 First abroad projects are developed, at Lisbon and Oporto.

• 2004 Emurtel joins Grupo ACS, consolidating its organizational structure and its financial solvency, and being even more capable on participating on huge projects at many fields.

• 2006 Constitution of COTA, joining Abertis and Cajamurcia.

– Installation of 382 sq m of solar panels for a total of 230.34 kW over the

municipal indoor swimming pool.

• EMURTEL developed theproject and installation of thesolar modules at the rooftop,and also pump room, including a5,000 liters sanitary hot watertank and pools exchangers, all ofit controlled by a solar unit.

– Turnover project awarded to EMURTEL in temporary consortium with DRAGADOS

– Over 20,000 sq m of built area including: Indoor Soccer Track for 5,000 viewers, auxiliary indoor

soccer for 700 viewers, semiolympic Swimming Pool for 500 viewers, and Department of Sports of

Cartagena City Hall.

– EMURTEL is responsible for the implementation of the facilities, so the project was designed in order

to implement de following energetic efficiency measures:

• Electric installation: Automation control of the lighting

installation, installation of analyzers in the main draw,

high efficiency lighting, reduction of losses in wiring,

installation of capacitors for reactive, installation of

variators on pumps.

• Climate control installation: Heat recovery at chiller

plants; entalphy recovery at climate units, Free-cooling

at climate controls and Pool, integral control system with

centralized management using SCADA, Integration of the

heat and cold climate facilities, sanitary hot water and

pool in the same circuit in order to maximize energy

sources.
